  2. I lost my dad last year December to prostate cancer. I miss him so much. I just don't understand why a sickness will make someone suffer so much before he dies. Rest on papa bear.

  3. I lost my dad to prostate cancer two years back thereby becoming a father and breadwinner to five sibling I became numb to pain after his death as nothing I loose or go through in this life can compare to that experience.

We ain't there yet , it hasn't been easy but my siblings are alive, breathing and taking life one step at a time.

I advice all men I know to always check their PSA as that death could have been averted.

Where can I go for cancer test in Enugu Here please?

  4. I lost my younger brother to cancer of the colon. Hiv/Aids is very easy to manage as there is availability of the drugs to both rich and poor for Free in Nigeria.A lot of people have become undetected with the use of the drugs but for cancer you spend a lot of money if you can afford it. For those who can't they eventually die.

  6. Stella , you need to be enlightened, HIV is not a death sentence, being positive doesn't mean death this days, people don't die from it like before, so far you know your status and you're taking your drugs religiously, you're good. it's just a status

  7. I’m going through breast cancer scare right now, my breasts are always paining me and funny thing is that I can’t even voice it out to anyone not even my dear husband who I tell almost anything. I’m so scared to even go for check up because of the unknown. I keep telling myself it may not be cancer as I have very big boobs but anytime cancer is mentioned, I get so scared. I really need courage to go for check up. Where can I do that in Festac/ Amuwo Odofin area so I can put my mind at rest.

    2. Why not locate a breast clinic close to you for a check. They will perform a breast examination
scan, usually a breast X-ray (mammogram) or ultrasound. They might opt. for biopsy, where a needle is inserted into the lump to remove some cells for testing. Some lumps or cyst are filled with bacteria and might spread if not treated on time.

    4. I doubt if its cancer. My doc told me cancer is painless at the earlier stages, if your boobs are still soft you are safe dear. But if it/they are hard, then there is problem. Late stages of cancer can be very painful. Pls go for a check up, you don't have cancer.

  12. HIV/AIDS is milder when compared to cancer. I guess the stigma with HIV is because most people associate it with sexual immorality. Non communicable diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer etc) are chronic diseases that kills faster than HIV/AIDS. The best cure is early detection. Please do not be afraid, go for regular check ups. Ignorance is not bliss in this case

  13. To those that lost their lovely one's to cancer, my sincere condolences. My daughter is a cancer survivor. And many doctors were surprised she survived a stage III cancer. It can only be God. Everything disappeared! Miracle. A close pal told me your daughter never had cancer, she was mis diagnosed. And I believe her. It's more than 15 yrs now, we go for check up regularly, but not an atom of traces of Cancer

  14. I suffered from cancer six years ago and three years back, it came back fully blown. There was metastasis to the bone, liver and spleen. I even called and wrote to Stella back then soliciting for help, but I was not answered. I thank God I am OK. It has not been easy, but God has been faithful.

    2. It shall not return in Jesus Name!!!! Ahhhhh, the pain of relapse. My son has been fighting for more than a year now. Scanned and was clear and 2onths later, just when we were to go for confirmatory scans, pain started again and it turned out to be relapse.

Ahhhhhh, I cannot say what my eyes have seen. I do not wish this on my worst worst worst enemy(if anybody is such) but I believe God for a miracle that will sound like a lie. A child oh hmmmmmm...it is well!!

  16. ANOTHER MAJOR CAUSE OF CANCER IS HPV. IF YOU ARE SEXUALLY ACTIVE HAVING SEX ANYHOW AND KISSING/FINGERING,SUCKING PENIS OR VEEJAY ANYHOW PLEASE CHECK IT. HPV DOES NOT HAVE SYMPTOMS EXCEPT SKIN WARTS. YOU NEVER CAN TELL WHO HAS IT UNTIL YOU ARE DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER. EVEN CHURCHES DOES NOT ASK FOR HPV TEST RESULT BEFORE MARRYING TWO PEOPLE NOW. ANYWAY,CANCER DRUG IS UNDERWAY. IT HAS BEEN TESTED ON MICE WAITING FOR HUMAN TEST.
