Atiku Says INEC Server Shows Buhari Lost 2019 Presidential Elections By 1.6 Million Votes

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded election, has claimed that he defeated President Muhammadu Buhari by about 1.6 million votes.

This was contained in the petition he filed before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja on Monday, to challenge Buhari’s victory, Vanguard reports.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) are the first to the third respondents, respectively.

INEC had declared that Buhari won the election with 15,191,847 votes to defeat Atiku, whom it said polled 11,262,978 votes.

But the petitioners stated in their 139-page petition that “from the data in the 1st respondent’s (INEC’s) server, the true, actual and correct results” from “state to state computation”, showed that Atiku polled a total of 18,356,732 votes to defeat Buhari whom they said scored 16,741,430 votes.

According to them, the results were the total votes scored by the candidates in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, as there was “no report on sever” about the results from Rivers State as of February 25, 2019.

  1. This is really interesting. Could this be true? How did he get access to the INEC server? Let me wait for INEC response on this. I hope he has enough verifiable evidences to prove his case?

    2. If his claims are true, then with an assemblage of good lawyers he stands a chance of getting a favorable judgment.

  2. Wow how true is this....a big part of me believes this as the rivers state election violence was worse and at such compilation would have been difficult but on the other hand how did he get hold of this information and how authentic are they? As anyone is innocent until proven guilty but also this is Nigeria where all of that means crap๐Ÿ˜‚

I just pray he has actual facts and proves to back all of this...I would love to see how this plays out in court and with the international communities who always claim to do what’s right for Nigeria๐Ÿคง

  15. I will always say this, even a toddler knows that Buhari cannot win an election free and fair in Nigeria,i am 100 percent sure of this, that was why he removed the CJN and insisted that he will congratulate himself that he was going to win, when u are contesting you cannot be sure if you don't have something up your sleeves,i know that many Nigerians are tired of Buhari, he brought harship to Nigeria and cannot win,i love that Atiku went to court, whether he wins in the court or not,at least he fought for his right.

    1. Will you shut up. Biased bigot. Where is your fact and how you have arrived at that figure? Why dont you stick your 100% where the sun dont shine. It amazes me the level of ignorance some individuals possess in this country. Do you even read at all. Atiku is part of the monsters that brought about the hardship you are shouting up and down. Let him go and lick his wound with the remaining (Nigerians sweat) money he looted. If this any justice in the world Atiku should by now be rotting in jail. It's best for you to go and work harder.
