It was gathered that some months ago Omolola abandoned her husband Michael Oje to reside with her father Taye Folorunso Omole at Ijoka Street Ilesa on excuse that her husband frequently beat her on flimsy excuses.
According to the father of the victim Michael Oje had approached him several times to appeal to his wife Omolola to return to his house with his Daughter Blessing but she refused and feared that her husband would continue to beat her if she returns to him.
He further hinted that on the day the accused went to his wife he had prepared his mind to end the life of Omolola with cutlass.
The father stated that while the fracas was on between the duo the husband used sharp cutlass on her head as the victim defended it with her left hand and the cutlass cut off the left hand
After he had cut off her hand,he fled the scene to avoid being arrested or apprehended...
Omolola’s Mother Bosede Omole said that she had spent over 400,000.00 naira to save the life of her daughter who is in the hospital receiving treatment while more expenses is expected as the treatment would be done in phases.
Osun state police image maker Deputy Superintendent of Police,DSP, Folasade Odoro confirmed the story and said that the Police was desperately looking for the blood thirsty husband and begged anyone who could locate the accused to report at the nearest police stations

ReplyDeleteI didn't read the story because I don't want to see the photo. I am sure a man in Kenya did the same to his wife a few years ago because she did not birth a child, even though he knew he was the one with infertility issues, he still chopped off her hand. Trust a man at your own peril.
