Please BVs my daughters(I have 2 )just told me last night that their teeth is shaking.. I thought they were joking at first because they are not yet of age to start removing their milk teeth(so I thought).. It was when the complaints became consistent that I decided to check their mouth and behold one upper incisor is shaking slightly for the 1st one while the lower incisor is also shaking slightly for the 2nd one. I just want to know if it normal. The 1st would be 5 years next month and the 2nd is 3 plus... 

They look more mature for their age. Please is this normal?


Hmmm at this age i remember my boys sprouting tooth and not losing them..I really dont know my dear!!!!

You can dish it, can you take it?


I had a friend; I have legit never seen her quiet before, that girl could talllk!!! I guess it did help her talking ministry that she owned the only beauty shop on the street. It was the hotspot when you wanted to know everybody else’s business. Possibly, the most striking thing about this lady was her bluntness.

 She would drop it like it was hot, say it as she was thinking it and didn’t give a rat’s ass if it rubbed others the wrong way. She had an opinion about everyone and everything and nobody really noticed that she hardly ever talked about herself. Most of the times, she was saying what most people were thinking but dared not say, and she had a way of telling other peoples story, with a little extra on it. 

A lot of people admired her ‘frankness’ and a lot of people dreaded her. Of no deliberate ill motive, she often left people broken and sad, she took “the truth is bitter” and “truth hurts’ to a whole new level of high. When we became newly acquainted and I hadn’t known her great reputation, I tasted of this direct bluntness. It hurt because I had confided a matter with her and of all places; she served my matter as kolanut in a public space with deriding words. Now I believe people should boldly state their opinions and speak their minds but with a bit of diplomacy, empathy and emotional intelligence. The problem came when another lady moved into the vicinity, if we thought my friend could talk, this new lady was a walking loud speaker. 

At first they got along pretty closely, until the biggest neighborhood fight happened between them. My friend had given unsolicited advice to the new lady and she had retorted with an equally unbridled one. It didn't seem much like a big deal, compared to what my friend was known for. All through their war of words, my friend kept shouting, “you cannot mind your business, and is it everything you see that you say” “person no fit tell you secret’… She was actually very hurt and bad mouthed the lady to every customer that came into her shop that whole week. 

This was shocking to us; she could dish it but couldn’t take it. Before you go around bragging that “you dei speak your mind”, you say it without processing, be real with yourself, can you also take it when its dished back to you raw. Cheers.

THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF NOT REPAYING A LOAN

Being in debt is one thing you can find common among people. I said this because, at one point in time, people have been or are still in debt. It could be a debt obtained from banks, friends or even family relations. Some debt could even come as voluntary pledges, oh yes a promise could be seen as a debt.

Being in debt cut across the wealthy, average and poor in the society. The only difference is the volume of indebtedness.

It's no news that most people live above their means, thereby getting themselves into severe debt all in a bid to impress the society. Getting a financial credit (loan) comes easy but its redemption lies the problem.

Loan default creates panic on the individual and most times makes one restless and uncomfortable. I have seen and read about people who committed suicide due to huge debts they found themselves. Some relocated and put their sureties into problems.

One bitter truth with people in debt is that, they spend most part of their life struggles paying off debts and likely may end up not being successful in life. In this case, the debt becomes a bondage.

A man took one hundred and fifty thousand naira loan with an interest rate of 30% which was forty five thousand naira and was unable to pay back at the stipulated time. The creditor in the guise of being lenient was busy collecting just the interest of forty five thousand naira monthly from him, since he couldn't pay the bulk sum of one hundred and ninety five thousand naira at a go. Within six month, two hundred and seventy thousand has been paid just for the interest alone with the capital still hanging. What a life???.

When next you think of getting a loan, remember, lives have been lost, houses, landed properties and assets have also been forfeited as a result of loan default. Some things people borrowed for doesn't even worth the stress and pressure they go through in life, and could have been avoided if only they were contented.
