Omotola, your village demons are on your case. Abeg don't say integrity and your name in the same sentence. You're not just testing God, you're also tempting Satan - very dangerous position to be in. Just say you have repented, that is better than this stunt you're pulling. Before you tempt them to leak receipts and your so-called brand scatters before your eyes. If dem remember you, your photoshoots and epistles you wrote to praise yourself will not save you. When we tell people to be patient and content, not to be moved by glitz or fast life - dem no go gree. They'll insist on eating with the devil, thinking they're smart. SMH.

Omotola is mad, so indirectly she’s worth £320M. Abi were lele yi.
She should go and sit down. She was captured with GEJ and now that this gov doesn’t identify with her she wants to force her way. I detest her for this. Let her just go sit somewhere her time is up. She shouldn’t force people to recognize her. Mumu

Help me ask her how much tax is she paying. Am not beefing her building a moribund country like Nigeria required concerted effort from the elite of the society,, they chart the course of how to be governed, but our case in Nigeria is different we all suffer from a mentality that once am not directly affected then is fine. We are all not guilty of this project call Nigeria. In 2011 when the Arab spring stated I was watching with bated breath if Nigerian will take cue, Na lie o, we watched while our so called politicians bled our country dry. Another chance present itself it subsequent elections we Nigerian youths and the few ones who are more exposed voted for an old recycle leader with no different idea. To be honest the situation we found ourselves in Nigeria of today is a case of we eat what we sow. Everyday my heart bleed for Nigeria, am just praying and trusting God to finish my degree, if it still remains this comatase I pray not I will take her by storm and am going to wrestle the current political and elite to the ground before they ran the country out of extinction, flaunting personal achievements and not making concerted efforts, actively engaging in challenging the status quo is what is destroying the country today.

£320million for what please? One movie, her yearly salary, or all the money she's ever seen in her life? This woman is very unwise. Endorsing something she knows is a lie cos she wants to seem bigger than what she is. Genevieve's movie wasn't sold for anything near the amount it was rumuored, did you see her officially release any statement confirming it? Has Dangote ever confirmed or denied the amount of money he has? But this one is agreeing with something she knows is a lie. Not even N320m. I laugh in EFCC meets Secret Service. Shebi they've asked you on Twitter about tax payment in a reply that looked like it didn't have anything to do with what you were saying. You think that was mistype or Bashir was drinking, abi? Until dem land your house, arrest you, drag you out in front of your children like a common criminal and say it's cos of tax evasion. Better go and brush up on your rusty acting cos obviously it's Dino Melaye kind of acting that can save someone.

Omotola should keep quiet and stop making noise. She wanted attention and she got it in a very bad way. She was scared and couldn't even attack the president's aid.

Fear catch her and she ended up saying she was glad that there's improvement. Omotola is just an attention seeker.

Leave her. She is mad. Am not sorry to say this. So indirectly, omotola is saying she is worth 147.2billion Naira. And she’s never among richest nigerian....: never heard of “billionaire actress omotola before”
She’s really mad. He career is over so she should just go sit down. She does not even worth 1billion only if you know what 1 billion Naira means.
I work in a bank in a department where I have access to people’s account balance. In my 5 years experience, I have only see about three accounts that has 9 figures (billion) in it.
Most people just say this thing. Many don’t know what 1 billion Naira really is smh 320m pounds ko 1 kobo ni

Why are almost everyone confusing 'box office worth' with what Omotala is worth? These are 2 different things. The first is what movies she featured in is expected to earn while the 2nd is what she has including assets and cash.

She spoke up for you and I you criticise her. what did do you people really want? most Nigerians especially in this blog need a serious deliverance.

smh, too bad we have animals living in human forms as Nigerians! same reason why this country remain stagnant. do you think if a minimum of 100 persons join omotola and speak against this current stayed and ugly administration there won't be positive changes? instead the foolish ones will criticise her even when they are dying in abject poverty. the problem of Nigeria is not entirely has to do with the politicians, the major problem surrounding this country is the foolishness of many Nigerians who has failed woefully to differentiate their rights from wrong. Even thou she earn 500 billion how does that become your problem? hence, she still stood up and complain against an administration that is killing you slowly. at times I wonder if some some Nigerians are cursed to leave what they ought to worry about and scream at sth wey no affect them. pls think think think. only we can solve this country's problems through our voice. not those polithiefcians.

To those of you castigating Omotola for complaining about the situation in the country because, according to you,she is rich, and with the same 'brains, questioning the extent of her wealth again when she tried to respond to the question of her integrity,we know you guys.
You are the typical envious Evelyn's(yes, you are women). You were raised with so much jealousy that you have automatically attached a rival to Omotola' s existence(Genevieve) . It is a pity. You always tell yourselves and others that she is over hyped because that is the thought that can make you sleep at night.
Unfortunately, your disease has no cure, but fortunately for some of us,you are serving as our entertainment, albeit a cause for consternation sometimes.

Most people ust hate the want for reasons I don't understand. Someone finally has balls to challenge this govt. & it has to be about Genevieve's Netflix deal?? Is that the problem we have now??

Anon 11:00 But the reason you've not seen Omotola's own billions is that e dey under her bed, oh. Bank is for mere mortals

Anonymous said...

Which is the first and the second amount? When did Nigeria start doing box office that her box office worth will reach that amount? For how many movies please? I don't think you understand how seriously cash-strapped Nollywood is. Allow Instagram hype to be deceiving you, oh. Even Mo Abudu with all her overhyped terrible movies CANNOT honestly boast of such an amount at the box office. Sorry but Omotola's entire career (that is from when she started till now) is not worth up to 320million Naira.

Anonymous said...

She's speaking for her pocket, abeg. As much as it annoys me to say it cos people are really suffery, Bashir was/is right about the reason(s) for Omotola speaking out.

To ALL the haters down below, especially the one that wrote a lot of the negative epistles below, you show NOTHING but envy- you are probably an actress as well or just a jealous hag. Omotola did not say she made that amount, the magazine said that is her value/her worth. Genevieve has hers too. Btw, she is the only one smart enough to get a good PR company to promote her to the point TIME made her one of the most influential people in the world. You should be proud and supportive of her that out of all the useless so called celebrities she is the one of a handful vocal enough to draw attention to the plight of our fellow Nigerians. I don’t live in Nigeria so I could careless, but yet I care and we put attention to what matters. For all we care, you can continue to rot in that hellish country until there is a massive unrest and y’all are beheaded by BH and areaboys. I understand a lot of you on this site are abused housewives that are frustrated with your cheating husbands and regret the path you have taken. Omosexy represents what you aspire to be but you didn’t quite make it. She is beautiful, tall, rich, smart and has a supportive husband that stuck with her through it all. Her happiness, your sadness. There are only two old nollywood female celebs that have set themselves apart from he rest; one is quietly living a full luxury life as she invests in her business and real estate-Genevieve; the other, Omosexy is doing all that plus adding her duties has a married woman with 4 kids and making an international brand for herself and still drawing attention to those less privileged-That my friends is OMOTOLA.

For all the negatives, curses, and all things not nice we Nigerians say and prophesy aboit Nigeria, May it turn to fat, giant positives that will translate into great strides of industrialization and growth in Nigeria in Jesus name.

The pinch the economy is pinching even the celebs ain't small at all.
