No child should be called a bastard no matter what. As the child had no say in being brought into the world by whatever means and way. No. Children born out of wedlock should not be shamed. It has got to stop.

Darling shoot down the mind set with words

Damaged people can do only thing cause other people pain

Each time you are called a bastard remind him if you are a Christian that society thought Jesus was fatherless because he wasn't seen to have a physical father yet look what he made of his short life time

NEVER allow that man put you down in a derogatory manner..make your point firmly and respectfully but refuse to wear the badge he places on you

I WILL BIRTH FEMALE LIONESSES THAT NOONE BORN OF A MAN OR WOMAN CAN PUT DOWN

This is what I'm teaching my children.

I'm a very calm person and reserved but,you don't dare talk me down. I will so put you in your place. My hubby tried it when we newly got married, trust me he won't even try such again because he cried. You want to make me feel less? I will turn the table on you.

      Even my mother in law.
I remember when I had my first child,I was so bloated with puffy face and big nose due to baby fat. I can really remember what my mother in law was discussing with and she said "I'm yi ma tobi o (this nose is big o)" I in turn asked her why her bumbum is so flat . Me that was having post partum depression and feeling very thrashy.I knew she was angry and I was expecting her to tell her son but up till today ......

Imagine, the body that I'm not happy with the changes that has occurred, one person nowfelt she can make me feel bad about it.

    7. That married you because you had a job. Auntie wipe your tears and start insulting his entire generation. Don't you know by calling you a bastard his alleging that your mom was a hoe. If you can't fight for yourself defend your mother's name!

    Better repent!!!

  13. Helen Paul is a beautiful, smart and wonderful woman. Her mom is even more beautiful in spirit, for the courage to birth and raise her daughter in very traumatic circumstances, esp in Naija. Thanks for sharing your truth and honesty bcos this will give someone you there, a measure of hope and comfort today.

  14. Helen's story isnt different from mine. Just like her, I am working hard to make my mother proud and shame those who are of the opinion that I won't amount to anything in life.

  15. This is not necessary info abeg! Is it necessary🙄. Nigerians are not the type of people u share secrets with, if you go and misyarn in your comedy show, you will regret ever giving out this information. I can never share my secrets with anybody, even as I love my husband reach! Never! Ahn ahn, is it over excitement of getting a PhD that caused your mouth to have diarrhea! Nonsense and ingredient.

    1. Calm down, it is her story and she has the right to share it to make her momma proud and encourage others, if you ain't cool with it Waka pass, stop the insult or drop your comment without the insult, lobatan

    2. Yes it is necessary. She has lost all the shame society ever threw at her and her mother. She has grown past all the stigma, all the trauma that was no fault of hers. She has fought battles and won. Now she lives above it all. She truly lives! She is free, free, finally free.

      Good luck and congrats Helen!

    3. she has said this story a lot of times, its out there to encourage ppl in similar situations, anybody who wants to thrash talk her shouldnt cos this is her story but it doesnt define her being, its just a proof to show she worked hard and didnt succumb to what life threw at her even before she was born
