UK Govt Reacts To The Killing Of It's Citizen Miss Faye Mooney In Kaduna...

The United Kingdom, UK, government has reacted to the killing of its citizen, Miss Faye Mooney, in the recent attack on Kajuru.






DAILY POST had reported that the Police Command in Kaduna State identified the expatriate killed by suspected kidnappers in Kajuru as Miss Faye Mooney, a Briton.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo said Mooney was among the two people killed and three kidnapped on April 19 at a recreational resort in Kajuru Local Government Area of the State.

Reacting, a tweet on its official Twitter handle @UkinNigeria, the government said it was aware of the tragic incident, adding that the next-of-kin to the deceased has been notified.

The tweet reads, “We are aware of the tragic incident involving the death of a British national in Kaduna State on Friday. The next-of-kin has been notified.

“The British High Commission offers our most profound sympathies and condolences to the families and friends at this difficult time.”

  11. Am sure kidnappers and their wives/girlfriends may also be reading newspapers and blogs like SDK pls stop wasting lives in your own interest. Am sure they took their belongings they should have spared people's lives. Nigerian is gradually becoming a "no-go-country" and it's a bad image for all of us. May their souls rest in peace. Amen.
