Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold Onuwaje has come with another table breaker......
''I've zero tolerance for poor and lazy men..do a legit job ..work hard ..you ve no excuse to be poor.even in the bible it is stated that Man must till the ground .stop been lazy and stop depending on people to survive.. If you dont have money do not get married even my brothers are not exempted from this advice...
#truthisbitter
Truer words have never been said! God bless you Lizzy
ReplyDeleteHonestly! She's very correct!!!
DeleteShooter Gyal, dem don give una food abi: runs girls. Awon alayi ni nkan rere se.
DeleteU sound as foolish as ur hanty aturess..
If you marry a very rich man today and tomorrow he looses everything what then happens to you. U better go and equip YOURSELVES, awon olodo rabata 😏😏😏🤷🏾. See as una advicer no fit write better English.
Nonsense 😏
God bless you anon 20:03.I wish for you the greatest things under the sun as well as the other 2 anyway, hopefully they will get it right.
DeleteThese are the kind of people that end up
ReplyDeletemarrying a man and paying dowry, renting a house and paying him allowance
just to remain married to them.
By the way, did I read "actress" there?
I have never in my wildest imagination
seen this name in any screen or cyber space.
Pheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!
There be many (social media)"actresses" these days o
Exactly 😂🤣
DeleteDouble standards.
I know someone just like lizzy.
She’s everything you wrote up there.
You listen to them, you are ruined.
Don't mind this hypocrite! Has she finished advising herself? Someone that delivered her baby in Warri and claimed she delivered abroad, all for the gram and to belong. Shior...
DeleteWho the blip is she???
DeleteMtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew, she should go back to school to learn the difference between "been" and "being" 😏 °
ReplyDeleteShe sounds very unintelligent 😏😏😏
And foolish too.
DeleteMy wife married me with 30k salary last five years but now,we are wealthy.ladies,no mind this ayangba
ReplyDeleteWhere is the evidence of wealthy.because wealthy can be 50k salary😃
DeleteYou were not Lazzy, learn to comprehend
DeleteOga you were working abi? Were you lazy? Did she meet you doing nothing?so there's a truth in her advice
DeleteYou had a source of living. You weren’t begging to survive nor someone’s boytoy . Shows you were and is still hardworking. That’s not what Madam Lizzy is talking about. Majority of the youths these days would rather have a sob story to tell to anyone they perceive they can munch off. Those are her audience. 😊😊
DeleteTenth stop displaying stupidity here
DeleteOkay
ReplyDeleteRegina Daniels recent flauntings have opened all of them eyes now they are dumping their boyfriends and fiances left and right looking for their ned nwoko. Regina daniels is a trendsetter i must admit but ladies open your eyes "all that shines is not Gold"
ReplyDeleteI see nothing wrong with what she said. She stated it emphatically either an average hardworking man or a rich one. If you are not rich, you can as well be average but not totally BROKE.
ReplyDeleteA Broke man shouldn't think of going into marriage abi na bread label him want use pay rent or bills?
Mmmmmm what is your definition for broke?
DeleteE b like say no only u get sense of comprehension here o! So far the comments don’t seem to understand her point o! Na wa o. Mk we read to understand o pple
DeleteWhen I said BROKE, I mean a man without any means or source of income, but rely on a woman, family or friends for survival. Or you think such men don't exist? They are much here in PH, and all they do is looking for suger momny up and down.
DeleteI trashed 1 from mbaise living in belgium recently & he nearly ran mad. He's still infuriated & cursing me upandan till now.
DeleteCan u imagine a 56 yrs old gigolo??? Education, early travel, even previous marriages for paper to oyibo woman from holland, and later 2nd marriage to Anambra girl billionares daughter,...is lost in him!!!
A total waste of human space on earth! They have a pattern to their madness. Bastard breeders & sugar mummy chasers. Looking upandan for desperate woman or naive girl to hang their cursed life, fake life of real poverty existence trap upon a woman's head.
I repeat that i rather live with cat or dog than any human being looking for someone to take advantage of & exploit.
Gigolos & pimps r worse than ebola!!! Deadly (spiritual, economic, physical life wasters) entity vessels.
Anon 21:51 the thing really provoke you ooh. But wait ooh you mean he is 56yrs of age and a gigolo?Unbelievable....
DeleteThe person that does not have today will have lots in abundance tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWomen, mind what you listen to and the advice you take on social media.
There are "old money" and there are "new money", some of them were once poor and some very poor.
If you find a man with good potentials and of good character that love and respect you, do not let societal pressure push you in letting a good man slip away from your life.
Seive the things you take online and choose your bandwagon wisely.
Ms.A what if the good man with potentials and character is broke? Can that put food on their table? Let's be real here in our contributions. Men these days don't even go for idle women again, they go for financial women. So how much more for a woman to settle down with a broke man.
DeleteI totally agree with you..
DeleteI agree with you, "men with potential and good character" is the key word.
DeleteSo women should go for good men that don't have a job and broke. So far they are good. You will be surprised how that good man will turn bad once he gets money.
DeleteHow do people like Tony Elumelu, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates started off, were they born with silverspoons? An auntie is presently breaking the internet, got knocked up by a well known dramarian and serial baby daddy, a’rich’ ig celeb, and believe you me, we’ve not heard last of him, contînue spewing trash online, who even postulates that a woman shouldn’t make money and try be the bread winner, or it’s a must a man must take care of his woman because a man who don’t is worse than an unbeliever, ladies go ahead, keep on believing everything you read on social media and don’t go get life skills and lessons, make una no worry, Stellz go soon do SnM, una know say na confirmed broke niggaz full there, if them say hi, make una no reply, yeye dem,and yes I’m a lady
ReplyDeleteYou are beginning to sound personal. A man is the head of the family says the Bible. So the responsibilities falls on him dear. Will you give your daughter or sister to a man without a source of income? Be sincere with your answer to this.
DeleteKey word: poor and lazy
ReplyDeleteGbam...
DeleteMe I have a good paying job and career and I cannot marry a man that is poor. Its my choice .My mother did it and suffered because even with the fact that she was catering for a man who was very contented with very little he ws earning. He will still drink and disgrace us.I cannot try it sorry
ReplyDeleteIt is so sad how everything has to do with money in Nigeria. So what happen to loving each other uncondtionaly and working hard and making it in life??? Poverty is truly a bastard. Such a shame. I married my husband when we had nothing today the respect and love he gives me is more than money can ever buy. 10 years on we can afford anything for ourselves and kids. Find your own and God will bless you with Every other thing to make life great and sweet for you.
ReplyDeleteThabk you o 🙌
DeleteYou are extremely lucky. Many women have helped and supported men who had little to nothing and the men took advantage and used the women. Please cherish what you have as it is special and rare to find these days
DeleteIt's not surprising that BVs only see what they want to see. She gave sound advice. If she doesn't live it, doesn't change that. "Hardworking" is the key word there
ReplyDeleteExactly!!! Who would want to settle with a lazy man? Some are even talking love. Will love put food on the table? A man that wants a woman should show working by being hardworking and not just promises of love and all the sweet 'nothings' in the world women are being told just to trap them and when they(men) eventually blow, they become beast and flirt outside.
DeleteI strongly support her on this. Some men doesn't worth struggling with as a woman, for there are possibilities they often change when money comes.
Same way I have zero tolerance for non virgins. Guys please if you want to marry make sure you marry a virgin and not any tokunbo second hand girl.
ReplyDeleteNo one should come and say the guy must be a 'virgin' too as this actress too that wants a rich man can be right herself but rather she wants a short cut. We can all play the game. No gender is a fool. So every rich man, please don't settle for less, make sure you all marry virgins. Thank you
DANTE
I don't think anyone will judge you, everyone is free to make their choice.
DeleteThe same way you want a virgin is the same way most women want rich hard working guys. periodt
This is standard Na. I must be the one to tear the p*ssy rubber of my wife, if I marry. And she must be between 21-24 years of age. I'm not going to marry babe that has received akamu from all sorts of rods. I also deserve the best.
DeleteFools. People are talking of what will benefit life all rounder these one are looking for untilled soil to cultivate
DeleteAs the world revolves new things become old.
ReplyDeleteWhat you therm as rich today becomes poverty tomorrow, those who used box televisions, tortoise car,404,where one time big shots but right now such things are refer to as poverty.the Ferrari you see today will been therm old school as time passes.
My take is marry a man with prospects, someone with focus, ambitious goal getter,Even if he is not loaded today trust me with all these he will get there.Dear ladies work hard to be rich too and earn yourself respects.
What is the difference with what she said and yours? You said if he is not all that loaded. So that means he is average right and working?.
DeleteReading and comprehension is always difficult for most Africans and I don't know why it's so.
Teejay,don't I just love you?
DeleteYou choose to add what you want to see.ya read again, this time slowly
DeleteIt’s term pls not therm
DeleteMeanwhile the lady that is carrying Ubi's fourth child was engaged to another man when Ubi gave her some " "....in her mind Ubi is very rich and successful. Awon marraige advisers
ReplyDeleteDope
ReplyDeleteTake it or leave it, most ladies are the ones taking care of their homes today.
ReplyDeleteHow do you come up with such statistics? Where did you draw your observations from? Can you explain? Remember, I didn't say you were wrong but prove your point.
DeleteI agree with anon. It has always been like that, cos truth is, most Nigerians are poor. Forget about the few rich men we hear about. Majority of Nigerians are poor, and most poor men are lazy. A poor woman will go on the street and hawk, but a man will be home waiting for an office job...
Deleteis it this one that had a child for a married man because of money na wah dis girl just want to make me angry n spill her out,has she forgotten she said money makes her come pls ask me is she from a money home, misleading young girls
ReplyDeleteAn advice coming from a single lady that's still searching. 😂
ReplyDeleteDON, what do you mean? So single people shouldn't talk about marriage? Even if she is searching, does that makes her less human or disqualify her from giving advice?
DeleteShes searching for the rich man na.
DeleteShe should ask Jonathan's wife his worth when she first married him..well,hubby wasn't rich when we married. no trad no white wedding just bride price..omo,I dey ball now.that's over balling dey worry me..I bless God!
ReplyDeleteWas he lazy and doing nothing when you guys met? That is the question. Or where you the one that paid for your dowry?
DeleteThank you for the advice.
ReplyDeleteWhat of if he's currently poor ,but has prospect and hardworking? All I know is life can be very dicey. I have seen the rich become poor while the poor later become very rich. It's better to pray for God's guidance while choosing. You can never be too sure! Ìgbà o lö bi òréré(time/season changes).
ReplyDeleteHow can you use hardworking and poor in the same sentence? If he is hardworking, then he could be average and he is legit and not lazy. So you see, you all are coming down to the same point the poster made but finding it difficult to agree with her.
DeleteA hardworking man can't be lazy and at least has a source of income flow even if it's 50,000 or 30,000. There is dignity in labour and pride as well. So these sets of people aren't the one she is talking to.
She said poor and lazy and she's right on that
DeleteThanks for explaining better . Honestly the lazy part was an oversight for me,I get the whole message now. Thanks .
DeleteThanks tj I love all your responses. Ur anonymous friend, Hanna
DeleteIf it wasn't for the money
ReplyDeleteCars and movies stars and jewels
And all these things I got
I wonder, hey
Would you still want me
Would you still be calling me
You be loving me?
After dem go dey complain say Timaya no gree marry. Why should he? What benefits do marriage bestow that are so special?
All these myopic write ups are coming from people that think that money is all there is to life. My friend married a very rich man, she was the third wife after two wives left the man.I travelled and returned to learn that she has left too. Till today no body knows why the man cannot stay with any woman, He is stinkingly rich. They all had children for him. Be careful of the kind of advice you give. All that glitters is not gold.
ReplyDeleteNigerians and comprehension don't go together. She is not talking about a rich man in terms of money but one who will not beg for food. Most poor men are lazy, just waiting for govt and handouts, they should go out there be it farming, okada, trading just do something. Lazy youth. Lemme copy something I saw online and add to.my point. *No Money in Circulation but Laziness in high supply!!!!*
ReplyDeleteI will give you FOUR examples...
*First :*
Two young adults came to visit me one morning. They needed money for food. I told them that I do not have enough but if they don't mind, they should help me and wash my car so that I can give them the money I budgeted for the car wash..... Both of them left lazily and I took the car to the car wash......
*Second :*
We have approximately 10 trips of sand dumped by caterpillar. I wanted to level the place for motorists and saw 3 young guys parading the street with noisy music from one China torchlight. When I asked them how much they will collect to level it, they said 5k each, I asked them to commence. In the evening, I drove to the site with their money, I was shocked when I got there and noticed that they did nothing. On my way back, I saw one of them who told me that they couldn't find shovel to do the work.......
*Third :*
One undergraduate came to me seeking for assistance.. He condemned all the elites because according to him, they refused to dash him money. While the discussion was on, my launder brought the clothes he washed for me. The young man was surprised at the cost. I now asked him to learn the job so that I can talk to the elites to patronise him during holidays... He told me that washing cloth for "bigmen" is washing away someone's talent because they have "blood money".... Their money is not blood money when they give you without work but will become blood money once you wash their cloth.
*Forth:*
I met one of my friends one day, he narrated how he has been suffering and how couldn't meet up his responsibility as husband again, I felt for him and I told him to join my farming business but to my greatest surprise, he bluntly refused and told me that farming business is not meant for graduates.......
At this juncture, I switched off....
*_No money in Circulation...., Overdose of Laziness in Circulation._*
God bless you Sparkle!
DeleteNigerians and their very lazy minded mentality. Poverty, greed, desperation is heavily in circulation among the Nigerian kids, youths, adults, old people & entire families!!! Why? The concept of self reliance, consistency hard work, positive belief in dealing with rejects, life traumatic events, birth and early life childhood circumstance and suffering loss. The people belief in free handout, scamming, pulling a fast one on unsuspecting people, tricks and mischief.
Everyone...most people I know today has this idea that I am a runs girl, just because I am still single at 49 and fabulously living well, successful and very fiercely independent. But what they don't know is that I hate prostitution, random sex, clandestine affairs or even taking free things from men and people. I came from the worst background anyone could imagine and have struggled all through my life with terrible events, deep wounds of betrayal, rejection, exclusion and tragedies. But I kept on with doing the right things for me, which IS GETTING AN EDUCATION FOR MYSELF, POSITIONING AND ALWAYS PUTTING MYSELF INTO ONLY THINGS THAT ARE NOT CRIMINAL, WORKING 24/7 ALL THROUGH MY LIFE & NEVER UNDERESTIMATING ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY EARNINGS NO MATTER HOW LITTLE OR SMALL, LEARNING FROM PAST MISTAKES, BEING CLOSE TO MY GOD & STRONG BELIEVE THAT MY LIFE OR EXISTENCE IN THIS WORLD IS TOTALLY IN GOD'S HANDS NO MATTER WHAT HUMANS DO, TREAT ME OR SEE ME.
In that I never entertain, tolerate or allow and promote any pity party way of life or self destructive behaviors!!!
Same values I have instilled into my son and grandson, that they must be willing to serve!!! Work hard no matter how small, continue learning something good and skills improving their life forever. Never ever fall into quick money scams or desperation for fast cash, crime etc.
What the Nigerian people I know don't imagine and think and most will never consider correctly is how can orphan leave home at 17, become a single mother so soon, now ended up with masters degree from prestigious European universities and top class academic qualifications and doing very well, living a very quality of life??? Which man or human being will hand over such things to me??? Which family/ community or people will give you free pass??? Sorry there is no one that can ever lift you in life, unless you work hard, lift yourself up!!! By valuing and appreciating the small things in life, deserving opportunities and being self reliant and having sufficiency in managing yourself well without turning into a nuisance, pity party, beggar, chronic desperate person or even criminal things.
Nigerian young girls are all waiting for a 'rich man" to marry them, the women depend upon scamming, con, racketeering for survival.
The Nigerian / black boys are lazy in the mind and spirit.
The men are now happily and very proud to become the dependents of a woman. TUFIAKWA!!!!
A woman will feed them, give them allowance, provide roof over their head while they breed illegitimate kids and carry on with the bastardization (visiting father) of the family unit. This is now the accepted standards. Whereby you see a grown up man or even many older Nigerian men now everywhere around you who are living without ever an experience of being a provider, responsible in life for the successful outcomes of his intimate relationship partner, wife, child(ren)
This is something that a man is supposed to accomplish, and be known for in his days on earth!!!
How can a woman take over the home responsibilities from a living and breathing able bodied and supposedly mentally balanced grown man???
Gbam
DeletePeople are looking at her and not the message. And the fact she threw in "rich men". A poor and lazy man who munches off other people for a living is a disease. Women better vaccinate themselves against such
ReplyDeleteBroke men will vibrate like Nokia 3310 untop this post.....😂😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteTeejay I diasadis with u, are d wheelbarrow pushers, cobblers etc not hardworking?, Are dey rich it average?
ReplyDelete
