Imo Gov Elect Ihedioha Cries Out That Gov Rochas Is Frustrated And Refused To Release Money For Inauguration

One hundred and fifty million for Inauguration?Only In Nigeria will you find such wastefulness!!!

Imo governor-elect, Emeka Ihedioha, has said that the outgoing governor, Rochas Okorocha has not released money for his inauguration on May 29

Ihedioha stated this in a press release issued by the secretary of his inauguration and handover committee, Ray Emeana.

According to Emeana, who doubles as the secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Governor Okorocha refused to finance the plans for Ihedioha’s inauguration.

He said there was no truth that Okorocha had released N150m to the inauguration and handover committee for the May 29 program.

The statement reads in part, “Governor Rochas Okorocha has not released any money to the Emeka Ihedioha Inauguration Planning And Handover Committee.

“For the avoidance of doubts, Governor Rochas Okorocha and his outgoing government have not released any money to the Inauguration Planning and Handover Committee.

“We can understand the frustrations of Governor Okorocha and the remnants of his e-rats, having realized that their efforts to derail the swearing-in of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha and Hon (Engr) Gerald Irona as Imo State Governor and Deputy Governor respectively have failed woefully.”

  4. Life! I remember this Rochas years back, building schools and helping people like service to humanity was what he was born to do. Obasanjo was always commissioning his projects to diffrent organisations,he used to call himself a philanthropist then. Power came and he started showing his real self, forgetting all is vanity.
