LASU Graduates 57 First Class

A total of 57 students of Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, will be graduating with First Class honours and two of them; Rilwan Ola-Gbadamosi from the Faculty of Engineering and Nneka Enumah from the Faculty of Science scored the same Cumulative Gradient Points Average (CGPA) of 4.88 out of the obtainable 5.0 points to emerge overall best.

They will all be conferred with their academic titles alongside 14, 312 others comprising diploma, first and higher degree graduands at the institution’s forthcoming 23rd convocation ceremony. A total of 26 had first class last year with only one emerging as overall best.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof Olanrewaju Fagbohun, made the disclosure on Thursday at a press conference held on the main campus in Ojo to kick-start a week-long ceremony which will also feature Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and former President of Ghana, Mr John Mahama, as the convocation lecturer and the chairman, respectively.
