And then it struck me. Would I have been patient if there was no sticker!???! Why do we need stickers to be patient with people!??

The fact that you fought your battles and won it doesn't mean others can, I fought mine and won too , all my life I have always been at the receiving end of bad things or so it seemed , parents divorced when I was 10, my father send my sis and i packing when I was 16 turning 17 ,we strived by ourselves , couldn't gain admission into the university for 6 years despite always passing my exams, I know the level of strength it took me to stay sane, I'll cry alone so many times ,other times my sis and mum joined in.and that's just a tip of what I went through,but bcos I'm still alive and fighting doesn't mean I'll ridicule those that weren't strong enough or having thoughts.the guy that died recently after he failed exams you would still blame him for that too?please its not self pity.Just be sensitive or keep moving.

I'm beginning to PITY YOU, Anyway, One sure way of healing is getting involved with kids and elderly ones. ReplyDeleteThere was a missing girl that trended on Twitter, 26years old, Ican certified, beautiful and this morning I opened Twitter to see that her body was found in a canal. It was raining and she and the bike man fell into a manhole and their bodies was swept into the canal. It's heartbreaking, manhole covers don't suddenly disappear, it was stolen by an someone who wanted to make quick money and now a vibrant young girl and a man whose only crime was to earn an honest living is dead. We keep insulting our leaders BUT what about us? What about you and I? We are quick to justify evil doing amongst us by blaming the govt; yahoo is ok because no jobs? Who said there's no work? It's because you want to sleep and wake up a millionaire without breaking a sweat, now that person who stole that manhole has blood on his hands and may heaven judge him.

DeleteIt was something like this my husband and I were talking about yesterday. We saw a video of expired soft drinks that some people were stealing and I believe it for them to resell to innocent people who will end up drinking expired drinks. Hnmmm
You see someone in charge of procurement in the office, he or she will tell the seller to inflate the price on the receipt in other to get more bucks yet we'll say The government is bad. Smh for some wicked and selfish Nigerians.
But I heard the bike man is still alive and he was even arrested sef cos it was his fault....

ReplyDeleteMy boss is from SDK's new country. He is really nice and understanding. Not wicked like most people assumed it would be working in an organization owned by them.
The only down side is his habit.
I noticed the toilet shared by a few of us was usually messed up. I continued to observe until I pinned it down to him.
I was shocked that a fine oyibo bobo like him could do this. Does his African wife not lovingly correct him at home? Abi she just kept mute and allowed the thing continue to slide?
This morning I arrived at work, greeted him and headed to meet the toilet to check my makeup. Alas, he has messed it up this early mor mor!
As I sheepishly washed up the place, a question came to me:
Dear BVs, which would you tolerate? A wicked boss who cleans up after himself or a nice one who doesn't?
