Nigerian Lady Detained Over Drugs In Saudi Returns And Thanks Nigerians For Support

 Zainab Aliyu who was arrested and detained in Saudi Arabia for four months over drug allegations has returned to Nigria....





Zainab who arrived Kano International Airport, on Monday was warmly embraced by her biological father, Malam Habibu Aliyu Kila with both of them shedding tears of joy. 

She arrived together with another Nigerian Ibrahim Abubakar who was also recently released on the intervention of the federal government by 10.00am with Saudi Airline plane.

 Speaking to LEADERSHIP on the phone Zainab’s father, Habibu Aliyu Kila appreciated God, the federal government and Nigerians for their support towards the release of his daughter. “I am together with Zainab as I speak with you now we are heading home immediately,” said Zainab’s father said. On whether he would take legal action over Zainab’s incarceration he said that they are still looking into that possibility. On her part, Zainab thanked her family and all those who were instrumental to her release by the Saudi government.

  2. I shed tears as I watched her arrival on NTA international yesterday. I'm so happy for her. Nobody deserved to be framed for a crime they didn't commit. I can imagine the trauma she must have gone through when she was locked up. I pray Saudis will start giving life imprisonment to drug traffickers instead of beheading them.

  5. If she heard S , not to talk of Saudi, na Ben Johnson get am. This is how innocent people are being killed . May God help us all, bcos this can happen to any body, not only in Saudi, but any where in the world .Congrats for a new life, Zainab.
