A five-member panel of the appeal court led by Justice Jummai Sankey delivered the lead judgement which favoured Governor Oyetola on the grounds that the tribunal’s ruling read by Justice Peter Obiora amounted to judicial hearsay.
This declaration by the appellate court has now set aside the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the Osun governorship Election Tribunal.

I weep for this country.
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe some Nigerians re-elected this APC government. How dumb can people be? May God deliver us all
ReplyDeleteWhich party would you have suggested we voted for, PDP if I may guess. God forbid.

ReplyDeleteThe truth is this, the people ruling Nigeria mostly want to protect the military and if your interest is not aligned with that of the Nigerian military, it would be hard to get into power. The military are still in country of power in the country and they use the civilians as foil to cover up their clandestine agenda. That is why they were in the forefront of the rigging campaign to make sure Buhari win again. They did this by killings and voters intimidation. INEC, is another problem we have in the country. They know the right thing to do in order to avoid bloodshed during elections is by making the election transparent using the Open Ballot SYSTEM. A system that is the least costly, results are received immediately and no ballot papers for thugs to snatch. But INEC wont do this because if they do, politicians sympathetic to the military will not win elections. And finally, one of the greatest problem we have as it relates to politics in Nigeria is the JUDICIARY. Most of the judges are THIEVES and so benefit tremendously from politicians during elections dispute, thereby making most of them multi millionaires. They sell out Justice for money allowing CRIMINALS and MURDERERS to rule over the people. After everything said and done, it is mostly the MASSES that SUFFER. This is the same scenario playing in Osun state where the AUTHENTIC winner of the election is not allowed to govern as his mandate is being stolen from him by the boogey man, the Nigerian military in connivance with the MOST CORRUPT Judiciary in the world, the Nigerian Justice department. Adeleke, fight on and be like LIVERPOOL. YOU NEVER WALK ALONE and NEVER GIVE UP
