He now return my calls, calls me when I'm too busy to do it, tho he not yet there but he trying. And i later knew it who he is, cos na all the complain from the friends be that.

Yes Shuga girl. My vegetable soup isn't complete without water leaf. It's usually a fine blend of pumpkin leaves and water leaves. I am not keen on adding any other.

In as much as time and nature carry out their designs and mysteries on a man, friends are the bulwarks of his life.
After 40 years of life, here is what I learned:
Time passes.
Life goes on.
The distances increase
Children grow up & and become independent and although it breaks the parents' heart but they are often separated from them.
Jobs come and go.
Illusions, desires, attractions, sex ... weaken.
People do what they should not do.
The parents die.
Colleagues forget the favors.
The races are over.
But, true friends are always there, no matter how long or how many miles they are.
A friend is never more distant than the reach of a need, reaching out to you intervening in your favor, waiting for you with open arms or with blessings for your life.

I listened to a radio program this morning on Brekete family on the dangers of consuming sugar.
ReplyDeleteApparently, the sugar we have in the market both white and brown is artificial and contains Sulphur, Phosphoric acid, Calcium hydroxide and other dangerous chemicals.
They had on the program, officials from Ministry of Agriculture who spoke about the adverse effect of these ingredients on human health. It was also attributed to cancer.
It was advised to stay away from sugary drinks, or anything that majorly contains sugar. Please people use honey in place of sugar and stay away from soft drinks, juice and these sweetened foods.
You could check google too.
Thank God I stopped over two years ago.
