#weekend #jollyjolly #theweddingday #hmmmmm #nothreatsonmyinbox #tooquiet #windycoldday #gfa #nawah #loveenergy #positivevibesrocks #atallatallnaembadpass #weddingwithoutjollofrice #lol

Good Morning People..........

The day smells good already..I can smell Fresh Coffee cooking!

Hmmmm this life eh...so you give someone a gift and they turn around and ask you for money and indicate they want to sell the gift because they are broke..........Meanwhile they had enough time to reject the gift and ask for cash equivalent.....Na so life be!!!

This Morning is too cold already and I am thinking if it continues like this then i cannot wear what i planned to wear for this wedding and that would be a shame and really annoying.!!!

See me ranting up and down and preaching positive oxygen...LMAO!!!

Please have a lovely day ya'all
Kisses!

    2. Stella must be referring to those she bought Martins bags for. But Stella, you indicated that it cannot be monetized na and I know you, if they reject it, you will pick offence.
The person should have quietly sold it without saying anything to anyone on the blog.

    4. Was just looking at Stella with side eyes when I saw the part where she said 'had enough time to reject the gift and ask for cash equivalent'
If you try that with Stella or with any bv and the person reports to Stella , you will become her enemy instantly. The person nor try sha. Why not sell the bag if you want to? why come back to cry when you know the kind of person Stella is, how she will feel when she hears about it.

  2. Good morning my onebigfamily. WWE super showdown was the bomb last night. Seth Rollings and Koffi Kingston successfully defended their championships. Brock Lesnar the beast had a game plan coming for Seth but he never knew that the beast slayer Seth Rollings had figured him out already. It was a thing of joy seeing both champs leaving the arena victoriously. And to that Arabian 50 men rumble winner;Mansoor, well come to Raw or Smackdown. That's how you make a statement in your home country. One love my people.

  12. You see these people that sells 'fairly used' phones, fear them. My phone was stolen on my way to school yesterday. I didn't notice until it was time to print out my green card. I ransacked my bag, I couldn't find it. Then, I called home to see if I left it there. The person I called confirmed that It wasn't at home. Meaning I took it along. At first I didn't know what to do, but I later decided to use the cyber cafe. Opened my email in one of the computers, what I saw was beyond me. The person has gone through my emails, read my emails and even replied on my behalf. Jesu! What baffled me most was the way the person was so relaxed while replying my mails and whatsapp messages. He/she would read my previous messages and reply. That was when it dawned on me that, the thief might have entered my whatsapp and facebook too. I started calling the people I could call with my small phone. Then, I went down to ekwulobia to see if there's a way I can trace the phone. I got there and met an old friend. The guy sells used phones, chargers and also help in cases like this. I explained my predicament to him, and he said i shouldn't worry, that he will see what he can do. That I should drop the numbers of the sim in the phones, then the number of the sim in my small phone, and go back and finish what I was doing in school. That he will get back to me. I left, went back to school and waited for his call. After like what looked like eternity, he called me to come down to ekwulobia. When I got there, he said "you na my person, that's why I'm doing this. I can only hand the phone over to you, on one condition" I said what's that? He said, "I won't disclose who the person is". That's the thief. Hmmmm. I said no problem. Just give me the phone. He gave it to me, when I opened it, saw that, they've wiped the phone clean! All my pictures, apps, videos, music, everything was gone. Even logged me out of my email, I'm still trying to retrieve it. I didn't know if I should cry or laugh. I just told him thank you, and went back home. Now, my question is, why was he shielding the theif? I still don't understand.

Martins, I still couldn't retrieve my mail with my phone number. Any other way?

Our travail started from 10:30pm and ended at 4:30am.

When I asked the woman at the next flat what's up, she said ah that that's what they've been facing o every first and last Friday of the month. Oluwa o!
I asked her why the big big people I see around (I live in a mini GRA now hahaha) have done nothing about it. She said the pastor is a big person too!

  14. Yesterday I was at ojota waiting to board a bus to oshodi and after a while I saw this beautiful new Model of Honda driving down, I was admiring it because I haven't seen it before, again I was coming from an interview with Cars45.com(so it's about cars in my head now)
In the process of admiring the car, the driver of the car noticed me and pointed front asking if I'm heading down and I flagged him down.
Surprisingly, he pulled over and I'd to go meet him to confirm if he stopped for me and he said yes.
Lo and behold, dude is ebony black, cute and chubby Yoruba looking dude(so I thought). Then I asked if he was heading towards oshodi and he smiled and said No but straight, that's like maybe down to Yaba or so. I thanked him and he drove off.
So when he left it occurred to be that I should have still joined him and maybe alight at Yaba or somewhere and even continue to Costain/Orile then Mile2. I couldn't believe my dullness at that point.
But my challenge is that i have not been able to get that guy off my head since yesterday.
BVs, do you guys think i might meet this dude again? How possible is it even? Would he recognize me? Lagos is too big naw...where i wan see am again sef?

My husband says I play too much with him and that he doesn't respect me. Then our son is just so stubborn that he brings his friends to the house to cook for them without permission! Am just in between them they are pulling me in both directions am just tired! Na look I dey look two of them! They can't give me HBP ooo! I like myself too much πŸ˜…. My people suggestions are needed on how to handle them. Kisses to everyone πŸ’‹

    5. Teenage years are dicey
      They are no longer children
      Yet they are not adults

Its a tricky balance between withdrawing from tough discipline to firm tough love yet maintaining friendship and open door policy

They struggle with hormones, peer pressure and their evolving belief system

      However they can act entitled!

      Solution
      Pray

You are mother first before friend
This means him becoming a disciplined responsible young man you can be proud of takes precedence over opening teeth and wanting to look good

      Lay firm rules
      Enforce them
Having a good sense of humour and liveliness doesn't equal permissiveness

Always remember that for all yours good

      He is changing
      Keep up with the change

    6. Teenagers are difficult to handle, na their time. They want to grow so bad, they take to rebellion. Don't give yourself HBP o, he'll change with time.

    7. You have to keep correcting him. Adolescent age is the most difficult age. Please correct him with love. It will definitely end in praise.

    1. You can make small vegetable soup and with turkey stew.

You can buy pepper of #300
      One kilo of turkey #1300
      Your stew is set.

      Vegetables of #200
Stock fish..I mean eja panla of #500,ponmo #300 and you are good to go.

You can as well get a poundo yam or semoovita to go with it.

I think you might still get a change from that 4k.

    5. Egusi half derica 500, crayfish 200, uziza leaf 50, iru or ogiri 50, prawns, kpala fish and common 600 total, fresh pepper and tomatoes with shombo, tatashe onions 700,meat 1500, spices 100, bottle of red oil 300, tfare 100. You are good to go.
This is for both stew and soup.

    6. Miss aboki this is how I do my turkey when I don't want to fry it.

I wash the Turkey thoroughly then put it in a dry pot,I will then add my salt, onions,Tyme, curry, ginger and maggi I will stir everything together then cover it for 15-20mins.
After then I will add a little water and put it on the gas to allow it boil.after I notice it is done.
I bring out another pot and fry a very very little spicy stew then add my turkey into it one after the other then I stir thoroughly that the stew will stick to turkey perfectly that's how I eat my turkey when I dont want to fry it cos I dont really like them fried too.

That's my style though some might have other ways of doing it.

  20. Thanking God for the victory to come and Overdue Testimonies.

    Please I'll be brief...
I went for an interview sometime in April to get an internship role but after four stages of interviews and the final interview with the boss I was called back by the Hr and told that I was selected based on the M.D's instruction to be employed as a full staff but would have to undergo another interview with the heads of Department(Their own standard operating system).

Did the interview and didn't hear from them till almost three weeks later asking I come for documentation in two days which I did but on getting there I was told to hold on a bit as certain structures had to be put in place before I can proceed with the documentation that I'll be called when they are ready so I thanked them and left.

Fast forward to three weeks later I still didn't hear from them so I decided to go find out myself situation of things only for them to keep me waiting for hours before attending to me but immediately the MD came in from where he went and recognized me at reception asking how I was and smiled to his office the Hr came to see me asking that I forgave her delay and that I should call her by Monday and so I left.

Now the Problem is that even the security guy was surprised I had not resumed because according to him my name was specifically given to him on the day of the last interview before I came as they were expecting me for an interview and that the four interns had resumed.

I kinda think something is not right because of the body language of the Hr yesterday and I noticed that such mode of employment(That's being brought in because the MD thinks you are good)doesn't happen there too often by my office assistant contact I have in there and she feels the Hr doesn't really like me and Most of all that the particular position I'm being considered for that two people have been brought in by two senior staffs for interview prior to my coming but were rejected by the MD.

Please I need advice on what to do as I really want to work with this company(Its a big organisation with growth opportunities) but the dream I had yesternight is really bothering me.

Should I just move on even if I'm called to resume with them?
I'm sorry for the epistle this early morning but I'm greatly disturbed as I'm out of a job

    1. Do fasting and prayer asking God to show you the way. Tell him to show you if you should proceed. It is well with you. To get the good job these days is very hard. I'm still looking up to God.

    2. If you are called to resume you should go for it. Don't turn down this opportunity because of HR. I think you should also be very wise and try and be very respectful and grateful towards the HR woman. When you resume, bring your A game, focus, do your job well and DO NOT GOSSIP or take part in office politics.

  21. You are probably the one God is waiting for in the house. God sees things deep within you that others can’t see. They look at you and see a nobody; God looks at you and sees a worthwhile somebody. You may spend your whole life competing with others—trying to prove that you are somebody—and still feel like nobody. Be free from that today! You do not have to live with that any longer. You don’t have to try to be somebody, because you are somebody!!! Hallelujah.

Along the way, there may be some temporary setbacks, times where it looks like it’s not possible, it’s too late, but God has ways you never thought of. I prefer wigs and fixing of weavons.
Maybe I should just do the big chop and go on low-cut for a change. I wonder how I will look now, I have not chop off my hair in years

I struggled for 13 good years before I got to where I am today. And I sent my story in once of how my mother begged under ikeja bridge and we slept inside an uncompleted building we could find. I suffered extreme poverty. Oh! You even have internet to browse and I am sure your life isn't as hard as you think compared to others.

I think life must have been extremely fair to you in the past and you have gotten so used to it that you feel mere 3 years is 30 years.
