  22. I bless the name of the Lord on behalf of my family. My brother-in-law who is based in Edo state embarked on a journey to the RCCG camp for the last Holy Ghost Service. Somewhere after Ore, he probably dozed off because he said he just realized he couldn't breathe because the whole car was filled with water and the car was at the bottom of the river. He still had his seat belt on, the door was locked and refused to open. Even if the door opened, he couldn't swim anyway. He said he just saw a man on the bonnet of the car who broke the windshield and pulled him out then swam with him to the river bank. Unknown to him, a driver who passed by him in the opposite direction just realized he couldn't see the car that just passed him through the rear view mirror and they were on a long stretch of road, so the Holy Spirit prompted him to make a U-turn, a commercial vehicle o, they now saw the path the car took while veering off the road and bubbles from the river. As God would have it, a man said he could swim very well, he pulled off his clothes and jumped into a river he was very unfamiliar with. That was how this awesome God saved my bil's life and saved the family the stress of looking for a 60 year old professor of pharmacology and a minister in RCCG. I still shudder when I replay the incident in my mind and can't stop thanking God for us as a family.

  39. Very grateful to God. I was taking a walk yesterday and would have passed army check point to continue and next I heard was come here!!! I innocently went to meet the army man and the following ensued;
    Army man : come here.
    I went to meet him
Army man : Take 10 steps walk and come back. I did three steps. He said I should come back and immediately told a young Hausa boy with him to bring their koboko. I was livid inside but calm outside.
Me : what did I do?
Army man. : starts searching his phone
I noticed he was drunk making me to be as calm as undisturbed water.
Army man : where do you live?
Me : I live down the road.
Army man : who is your land lord? Instructs the young Hausa boy to go and call my landlord
Me : my land lord works in an oil company so not around now.
Behind the army check point is a filling station.
Army man : do you know the manager of the station?
Me : yes. I buy fuel from there
Army man : hey, manager, come here. Do you know him?
Station manager : no, but he comes to buy fuel from here a times
There's a shop the other side of the road and I have bought things from there before. I called the name of the shop owner and her son.
Army man : you (Hausa boy) go and call the woman shop owner. If she does not come, she will close that shop today.
The Hausa boy left. As the boy crossed to go call her to identify me, another army man from no where came and the drunken army man in Hausa asked him if he sees me around and he said yes.
Army man : hey, (to the young Hausa boy) come back.
As the second army man identified me, the drunk army man immediately made a 360 degrees and started apologising to me.
Army man : no vex. No vex you hear. Just go. Before I left, I asked him what was the matter, if I Iooked like a yahoo boy ( my hair plus beard all white), he said no that they have yahoo boys around the check point. As he was saying that, my mind told me to go and fast before I would be included in the stats of casualties from trigger happy force men and gun being placed beside me as criminal.

    Thank God oo.

I asked for an anniversary gift and God gave me exactly what I wanted so why won't I be grateful? The last year has been filled with more highs than lows, its been blissful for us, I hear and read about lots of people complaining about first year of marriage and I can't relate on most days because mine has been awesome.
And so I ask Lord that you perfect that which you've started in our lives and that you continue to keep us in good health and make us best of friends.

  42. I am grateful I did not loose what cannot be replaced!!
I sold a pair of shoes for a family friend(mum's friend) on Friday,I urged her to try it on when I dropped off but she said it looked her size, then I got a message in the midnight to say it didn't fit,I said to pick her up so we can just enter the market together, the plaza is 6stories,she has arthritis, she sat with a customer at the ground floor while I went to bring the next size at the 3rd floor for her to fit but it was not her size, going back the second time I saw the lift was just opening(I had never used it even if I go to the fifth floor 10 times per day cos I feel the building is old and in balogun😏)I used the stairs on my way down, going back to the park I noticed my phone was not in my bag,all my mind was I left it in the car😔,it was not there so I ran back to the shoe shop and started checking inside d cartons of the shoes I exchanged(it was still ringing)and back down to where mama sat to fit shoes,it never occurred to me that we were 4 in the tiny lift and I had the carton of shoes to my chest over my strapped bag,one of those guys must have played me(thank God I put cash in the inner section zipped)people kept calling it till they switched it off,I miss my phone so terribly😥,it never let me down for a day in close to 2 years in both rain and hot weather,it served me well and helped me sell plenty through the pictures I took with it,I'm grateful because I know it's a stepping stone...
To my clients who might have been trying to reach me since noon yesterday, please TAKE NOTE,I cannot run with your money/goods oo🙏😂
I know God is merciful and by Monday night at most,I should be back on,please reach me on this number if it's URGENT as I intend to still shop tomorrow 08132053911........it's your girl THELAGOSSHOPPER!

  44. All the athiest and co doubting the existence of God I pity una o, because y'all don't have a clue of what you are missing out on. This God is too great, think about the things your earthly father have done for y'all that's making some of you sing their praises, then multiply it innumerably, that's who God is. Too faithful, great, awesome, beautiful and all you can think, imagine and way much more. A testimony from a second party, there was this lady travelling to port Harcourt, and on their way the vehicle she was in dived into the river, I mean every single person died save her, do you know how she didn't die? she said while she was in the river, she saw something like a blue light, this light entered through her feet and pushed her upwards, once she got to the surface suddenly something pushed her back inside, and inside the deep river, she saw big fishes, sharks, snakes coming towards her, guess what God did? He formed a circle about her with that light and all these creatures circled her and went their way, then the light broughtvher back to the surface, where she found help. When narrating she emphasized she wasn't even born again, so imagine the deep love of a Father towards a child that doesn't want to have anythibg to do with Him. God is great o, and anyone telling you otherwise deceives you greatly, while we were yet sinners God loved us so much and sent His only son. My people you can't afford not to have a relationship with Him o, He is waiting with arms wide open, regardless of what you have done in the past, He said He is ready to give you a new beginning

  45. Lord, I am gratefu!!..
I Graduated 2012 and I was unemployed for four years after Nysc!!
Those four years were the most miserable years of my life as I was under serious pressure from my parents to get married...
In their words, if you cannot get a job atleast get a husband..
You cannot carry last in every area!!
My mum will bring numbers of random men that are looking for wives and forcing me to give in to their marriage proposals..
God smiled on me and I got my first job last year, the pay was 100,000 Naira..
I switched to another company this year and the pay is 240,000 Naira..
I know that it might be small salary for a lot of people..
But for a girl like me who just started work last year after 4 years of searching and being frustrated, this means a lot!!!
Now I get different Linkedin inmail from HR officers of different companies thay are trying to poach..
Once upon a time, I was that girl that will apply for 80 job vacancies that I saw online and I will get zero interview invitations..
Even if I manage to get interview invitations, it will be from Gnld and family😭😭..
To every girl that is desperately searching or praying for a job, your offer letter will locate you this week!!
    Happy Sunday Stellastica..
