Gynecologist Warns Women To Be Careful Of Cryptic Pregnancy Scam....

Head of Gynecology at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, Dr. Dangor Kalio, has warned against what is widely known among women as cryptic pregnancy.

In an interview with DAILY POST recently, Dr. Kalio described the act as wicked.

Dr. Kalio said the practice is an act of fraud used by quacks to extort women who are desperately in need of conception.

The Consultant Gynecologist, who confirmed the existence of cryptic pregnancy, said it is a risky form of pregnancy as the women involved do not undergo the regular routine for pregnant women.

According to Dr. Kalio, “If there are doctors who infuse substance into their clients in other for them to get pregnant, that is a fraudulent scheme. It is a scam.

“You cannot infuse cryptic pregnancy into a woman. They are only deceiving the women to make money from them.

“In the real sense of cryptic pregnancy, pregnancy is there but it is not detected. That is, the bearer of the pregnancy does not know about it: Common conventional methods have failed to detect it as at the time the presentation was made, until delivery.

“But the high point of this is that women, who have this, have irregular menses. And also, women who take a lot of contraceptives may not believe that they are pregnant.

“Let me also tell you that cryptic pregnancy comes with grave complications especially a situation where the fetus dies in the womb.”

Reports have been recent reports on women getting pregnant through cryptic pregnancy, which involves doctors inducing women with different medications to get them pregnant.

*Some BVS says they have cryptic pregnancy and one said the baby would be brought out in June.....Please contact me if you are reading this cos i would like to se baby photos of over 5years pregnancy............I find this really shocking!!!

  1. Stella, a woman in my place of residence, this year will make it three years she has been carrying a protruding stomach. According to her, she said she is pregnant. This is the first time I am seeing such, though I have heard about things like that. We have been praying for the family for God's intervention. Two women that got pregnant after hers had given birth but her. The thing sometimes makes her shy away from public view.

    2. She needs to go to a reputable gynecologist to check if it’s fibroid.

  2. No matter how desperate I am for a child I can't fall for this. It's so common in portharcourt. My uncles wife brought 3kids from there.

    2. Yeah, Very common in PH. I see they have entered Enugu too. They collect millions and tell you they will be the only one to help you in delivery.🤦‍♀️
My question is, where do they now get the babies from??

    3. Teejay, they induce abi inject the women with something that makes their tummy grow big and tell you not to go for scan anywhere else. They also help with delivery.

Sandy that is my question too.

    4. @Sandy Yo, it is either they steal the babies or use baby factories to perfect their game.

    5. Thanks SWAG... This is exactly what happened to that woman ooh. I once heard she said there's no need of her going for scam. I think I understand better now.

  3. Lots of Women going through infertility issues, it’s really saddening.
I already have two kids and wanted to add just one more to complete the family, brethren just one year and some months of TTCing I began looking at my previous kids like gold, I started imagining what women Trying to conceive and haven’t had any before are going through and I started thanking God the more. I now realized people don’t only watch womb of newly wedded, they also watch womb of those who had kids previously and they wouldn’t stop telling me to do quick as kids are grown. Poke nosing in-laws nko? Even my own family is not left out, its very bad of our society. They should stop pushing these women and mind their biz. Now dat I’m preggy, I will avoid them all till they hear I put to bed, I will see maybe after this one someone will still have the effrontery to still ask when I’m birthing another, I will knockout their nose... My God please give every woman looking up to you the fruits of the womb. Children are blessings.

    1. Congratulations madam. The waiting is not pleasant at all but in it all I know God is faithful and one should not allow thieves to dupe one into having stolen child at home. It is well with us all TTC.

  4. When a woman is desperate for a child or husband, she is worse than a moving train.

  5. Stella it is real and I have seen it. People are just shy to come out and testify. They are afraid of what people would say. Do not judge a woman who has been TTC for going that way. You would want to try too if you were in her shoes. I’m not talking to Stella, I’m talking to every woman who have grieved and cried for a child. You would rather opt for this method than to buy a child. I will never judge a woman who is TTC because only her understands the shame she bares in our society.

That said, I have seen it life and direct, and it works.

    1. Hmnnn....My dear, it doesn't work! It is not a cryptic pregnancy! Cryptic pregnancy happens on its own! and it's a 1 in 14500 chances.
Do you realise, these babies they allegedly birth are babies of other women?
So, they are still indirectly buying babies.
And those hormones they inject into them to make them look protruded can cause severe harm later. Ovarian cancer, Uterine cysts etc..
They tell them not to go for test/scan in other hospitals because their scam will be discovered. They tell them to come after 9months because by then, there'll be another pregnant woman elsewhere who will likely be in labour by then. When you go there after 9months,you are put to coma/sleep by drugs, you wake up hours later to a new born baby.
While another woman somewhere is lamenting for her "dead" or stolen baby.
Or, they might employ all these baby factories.. Either ways, its still bad because they make you believe the child is your and even your husband would believe too.

Now imagine if years later, there's an issue of infidelity or just a suspicion of cheating on you, and you're asked to do DNA test for all your kids and it's is realisedfrom the result that none are for your husband.... How will you explain that to people? 😕😕

    2. What is the difference between doing that and buying a child? Obviously the child is not biological hers. You can imagine how they will come about the child. Both are evil.

  6. Victims are told not to visit any hospital except theirs for antenatal. Nine or more months later after when she visits the hospital, she is put on induced coma, wakes up,a baby is shown her to be her new born baby. The new born babies must have been stolen from somewhere. It's a very lucrative business. Doctors and nurses are involved. Most times nursing mothers are adviced to go with a relative when due to avoid "so sorry, the baby died" .

  7. It just became more popular cos of social media but as far back as more than 15years ago my uncle's wife was 'pregnant' for almost 2years. They eventually raised enough money to 'deliver' a baby boy.

  8. I have this colleague we are both trying for years now. Her sister in-law took her somewhere in owerri were they assured her that they can make her pregnant with 100% assurance, she was told this system is better than ivf, that she will have to come down to owerri to birth the child. We are both saving up for ivf but she has told me she will no long do ivf that she will opt for the owerri woman. I have tried to talk her out of it, but she is not listening. According to her, she is 100% sure it will be successful. I will share this with her, hoping she will have a rethink.

This business is booming here in Enugu, I know of a lady that was trying to conceive, she paid almost #1m at the end when it was time for to deliver the induced her and gave her a baby that was almost 3 or 4 days old.The umubical has already fallen off. Unfortunately the child died a day later.it was there and then she realized she has been duped.Trouble started when she asked for a refund.

  10. I'm TTC and almost took this route. I heard about it for the first time last year and even posted a question on this blog about it. I developed cold feet after some responses I received. The confusing aspect is that a female doctor friend said I could go ahead. I didn't but a lady I know did. She is currently looking for money for delivery. She is birthing twins. I'm waiting for the delivery. If I see delivery video, I will go ahead. I'm tired of the pressure to have a baby.

  11. It's very common in PH, Aba women too. I know someone who is currently pregnant according to her and I have told her that everyone knows that she is not pregnant, they are only waiting to steal or buy other women babies. she is also loosing weight and money seriously and her business is going down too. I will continue to pray for her till she ends this funny drama.
