Saturday In House Gists - Living With Frenemies..

We all have Friends and some of us have those who double as friends and enemies..........

Some of us know our frenemies and some of us dont.....

How many of you have confronted a frenemy who everyone knows as a friend? How do you deal?Ever had a fight with one?

I had a frenemy i paid back same coin she dealt me but most people didnt know what she did to me cos she did it secretly,I did mine openly and became the one who looked like a frenemy...Since then,I dont bother to even let my frenemies know that i know they are frenemies,I just play along and secretly do to them what they secretly do to me.......

What is your Frenemy story?or are you the frenemy?

  2. I had a frenemy in school, but I became a worse frenemy, she pack out like thief, someone that picked my phone when I was asleep, pose as me n send SMS to someone I respect asking for favours with a promise to pay back in "kind", spoilt my cred, what saved me was, d man she sent it to is my moms elder brother whom I saved his contact with a funky name, I dunno her aim o, what she stood to gain, cos she doesn't even know him. I travelled home n that my uncle came around, I greeted him my normal style n he didn't answer me well, he then told my mom about d messages n showed her, I saw it too, she sent 6 SMSes at 2am, I knew we were d only ones in d room that day n time, I calmly called her "babe come house naa, momsi wan see u", she came, I gave her no chance, I pounced in her with tears in my eye, I threw punches n she punch me back, chei...I cried ehn 😁😁😁, I showed her d message of course she no fit deny again, they asked her why she did it, she no fit explain. We both went back to school on Monday, keeping malice, I couldn't stand her so I set her up n she was branded a thief. We square.

  3. There was this lady whom I had known as a Christian in the city I lived before.
We used to attend a ladies gospel meeting together and were good acquaintances. The only reason I wouldn't call her friend was that I hardly confided in her. She was always the one that came to me for counselling as she had been through some bad relationships and some
peculiar female "troubles". Not even my husband knew the things she was telling me. I always prayed with her etc.
So one day, she accidentally knew something about me. (a married lustful businessman was asking for my number which I did not give) Next, my husband told me that another lady (not this one) told him. This was something only my husband and I knew (as we do not keep secrets from each other). I
immediately knew that there was no way the informant knew this if not from the lady in question. I did not confront her, I just continued interaction as usual but I discovered that she was beginning to withdraw.
I knew that our fellowship together had been polluted and there is no way I will allow the devil to harvest this soul.
I did something I had been postponing. I paid off a debt that has been strangulating her without telling her. She went to pay the installment and the lady told her that a woman anonymously paid it off.
She pressed the woman to simply describe the woman and off course "heavy backside' 😊😊came in.
She rushed to my house, weeping and began to spill immediately.
She connived with the informant (who was closer to us) to scatter my marriage by informing my husband of "who I was going out with . . .". Yes, they actually did it that way. She spilled a lot.
I began to wonder, supposing I did not inform my husband the very day this man did that?
Supposing I and my DH hadn't built a marriage with great trust for each other over the years?
Supposing he did not know the faith we shared and the history of those
richer and more influential that this man that I rejected to marry him? etc. 😯😯😯😯😯
Romans 12:17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” d says the Lord. 20On the contrary:

    “If your enemy is hungry, feed him;

if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.

In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” e

21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

She asked of two of my frenemies yesterday when I told her I had cut off from them she just had a smile .
I thank God I'm building a more healthy relationship with God and my discernment is being reactivated.

  5. I don't even know the category to put this one sef. Just some days back, a neighbour that has been ignoring our greetings told my hubby that his songs ( hubby likes singing when he's doing any work, washing the car, clearing the compound etc..) are disturbing him.

Hubby apologised o but it's weird. He has been singing for years. Why the sudden complain? Hhmmm!

  7. I currently have one staying with me now. She is my friend at my front but at my back she's a vampire. The funniest thing is, I'm playing along with her she doesn't even know I am aware of everything she said about.

People can be so funny. I won't even say anything or fight her when it is time she will pack her loads. It is even her closest friend that is revealing everything to me and told me to be careful with her.

  8. One Neighbor I trusted very much and I gave her the keys to my apartment. I never knew I trusted a thief with my keys. Anytime I leave for work she will come into my apartment and steal food stuff. The day God wanna expose her my friend and I shared one full goat, two days later my friend called me that her light has been disconnected by NEPA, so I asked her to bring her Goat meat to my deep Freezer for storage. My friend counted her meat and section them into two halves. My thief Neigbor thought all the goat meat in the freezer belongs to me as usual so she took my friends goat meat and divides it into two equal halves. Only for my friend to come get her meat and told me part of her meat has been stolen. I was devastated. I was speechless. That was when it dawned on me that my Neighbor has been going into my apartment with the spare keys I gave her to steal my things behind my back whenever I leave for work.
I learnt never to trust anybody ever again in my life. This Lady hold a very big title in our Angua. She attends to religious activities judiciously. You will never belief she can ever do something like that. I collected my keys from her without any explanation and cut her off.

  9. My frenemy is so below me that I cannot even dignify HIM by writing the details. What a shame.
I feel pity now because the level he stooped to achieve so little by defaming me actually gave me peace. Desperate man πŸ˜‚, yes man and I’m a woman.

Please choose your friends, don’t let anyone choose you. Also, please learn about boundaries and red flags.

Frenemies are sometimes unavoidable as they come in different guises even as family. Identifying them quickly is better than being ignorant.

  10. I had a frenemy back then in school. She was squatting with me but was lying to people that I was the one squatting with her.
She organized someone to rob me in my way back to the hostel one evening and she planned on making me mad but I found out.
I cut off all communication thereafter.

  11. While in the Uni, I had this friend (Tobi) she always has one about why she's broke and all, any this last in question has both parents and I have just my mom, I dash her clothes, she picks my bag without asking, I give her money. I trusted her, told her gists about me, only God me to discover after we left uni 2010, how she has been spreading my gist and adding her own salt and pepper, so I sent messages to her that I heard all that she said. Then I saw her 4 years after the whole ish, she tried hugging me, I held her hands and gave her that look of who's you friend. Since then we all went our separate ways. Tobi I if you read this blog I have forgiven you, but i regretted ever allowing you come close.

  12. Me my own is I'm happy all my close friends showed their true colours before I left naija. I was just smiling with them as if I was not coding. Especially when I did not work most of last year. No be like say I ask anybody for one naira eeeh

Now when I give them back they would start saying its because she has yen yen yen 🀣🀣 and *pim* I won't say. You help people, support them, try to be humble even when you have given them gaps so they wont say you are 'prouding'. Then in return, you get disrespect and shadiness. My carry-nose has just begun. I no kukuma see what they do for me cos I'm always the one doing and spending money.

Na to face front sure pass. My only close friend now is money πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ Money my bestie will never disappoint me. She will do whatever I ask her to do and won't gossip about me.
