Elisha Addo Cliff Ishaku displayed an act of violence, uncontrollable anger and total disregard for human rights to a citizen of Nigeria.
He is not fit to hold a position of authority or a public office much more as a Lawmaker.
He should be recalled by his constituency or the Senate should send him on indefinite suspension WITHOUT PAY for the rest of their tenure in office.
If they fail to do so, Nigeria as a country willforever be tainted by this singular act, our NASS will become a laughing stock before the International community and Nigerians all over the world will be treated worse than barbarians.
Animals are treated with far more dignity and rights than what that irresponsible Elisha Addo did.
We women are our own worst enemy!!!!

I don’t remember applauding him for hitting a nursing mother. And YES I watched the video and I was pained. I hated the way he kept hitting her. No woman deserves that, I want him expelled.
DeleteIt’s a DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE, and he has a right to speak. But shutting him up like that “put the mic down, I am talking” is wrong. She’s no different from him and she should never have been in that committee in the first place. They are both tyrants and bad examples.

DeleteI watched the video and although it was just for a minutes one could infer from Remi tinubu's statement that he had been trying to give them orders and asking the questions instead of him listening to them and answering their own question.
ReplyDeleteIf you listened to Remi she was only trying to remind him of his position as a man under investigation and as such he had no power to question the panel and then senator abbo flared up.
One thing to note though is that even though they are both senators of the federal Republic of Nigeria there is still seniority in the house.
Remi is a 4 time senator with deep ties in the Senate and she could either swing the investigation in his favour or not but men like senator Elisha Abbo do not like been addressed by women as equals and so he launched an attack instead of applying wisdom.
I hope he gets suspended by the Senate as he seem not to understand that he is a PDP senator in an APC household and he ought to thread carefully.

DeleteI see a man who isn't remorseful, has no regard for women and wants to control the process. If not Remi, the "guys club" may just let this whole thing slide. Any woman who is against Remi is not pained about this incident and that is very bad.
From all this,it's obvious he has been doing this and getting away scut free. He needs to be dealt with.
