FRODD COMFORTS ESTHER

Esther has been known to breakdown whenever her team loses and her breakdown after Monday’s Night Nomination Challenge was no surprise. 

She was one of the representatives of her team in the challenge and she was completely devastated when her blindfold was opened and she saw that she completely missed the plate she was supposed to pour cotton balls in.

 This led to a river of tears once she returned into the house after the Nomination Challenge. Whilst in the garden, Frodd comforted her and told her not to feel like a loser as wasn’t her fault the team was on the Nomination block (Well, it was because if she had gotten cotton balls into the plate, her team might have escaped Nomination as Omashola who was a representative of the team did quite well). Frodd’s words had significant impact on Esther as she cheered up after the chat.




MERCY’S GOSSIPS TO DIANE ABOUT ESTHER

In the early hours of Tuesday while in the Kitchen, Mercy and Diane had a chat about Esther’s newfound “strategy” which is acting to be in love with Frodd. Mercy said Esther was acting just to be seen around Frodd. They both agreed to this and Diane added that she was shocked to see Esther move to Frodd quickly and has recently been spending more time with him.

Mercy reiterated that she wasn’t convinced about the Froddster ship and she also had high doubts about Esther’s feelings for Frodd. According to her, Esther is only using her relationship with Frodd as a strategy. She also said that Esther thinks that being in a relationship will get her more fans outside the House as the audience usually appreciate couples more.

Mercy and Diane moved their chat to the dining table with an additional gist partner, Elozonam. Mercy said that Frodd is one that had genuine love for those he truly cared for and that his type of love is too rare. She further revealed that she felt sad seeing Frodd get played by Esther and subtly mentioned that Esther was undeserving of Frodd’s pure love towards her.



FRODD MENDS FENCES WITH IKE

Frodd and Esther spoke about Ike’s save and replace decision and he told her he just talked to Ike about it. He told her Ike said he was avoiding him because he felt he(“Frodd”) was upset but he felt better after they spoke. Esther said that Frodd should have told him that he was upset immediately after the save and replace decision on Monday. She further said that he should have expressed himself more to Ike since they are sort of close friends.



THE ANTI - MALARIA TASK CAMPAIGN

The housemates received a task brief which instructed them to present short plays and speeches. The task was to deliver a stimulating campaign on the prevention, treatment and eradication of Malaria. Before the task presentation, Biggie had them play a game themed “touchers” (a mimick of Police and Thief). While some housemates dressed and acted as Mosquitoes, others played the role of humans. Those that cared as mosquitoes were to do what mosquitoes normally do to humans (which is bite and suck blood) while the humans tried to make it to the mosquito free zone.

The first leg of the presentation was an original composition by the Housemates. Sir Dee led the housemates, Esther rapped and Elozonam did the beatboxing. The next leg of the presentation was on the prevention, treatment and eradication of Malaria. Khafi was the opening act for this leg of the presentation. This was followed by presentations from Mike, Omasola and Venita.

Next, the housemates took turns to discuss Malaria and shared their personal experiences with Malaria. The first presentation on this was from Seyi which was great for the first speaker. Next up was Mercy and Ike. They opened their presentation in form of a short drama. They acted as themselves and this was quite entertaining. Ike also shared his personal experience with Malaria. Mercy closed their presentation with brief talk on the Malaria. Diane was next and her presentation was very eloquent and educational. Frodd presentations was next and it was about his personal experience with Malaria. This was also very detailed and educational. He marketed the Malaria drug brilliantly.

Khafi and Tacha presented a short play of the treatment of Malaria and Khafi’s delivery of this was natural and impressive. After which Tacha gave an individual presentation on the treatment and prevention of Malaria. She was very confident and appeared to have gotten quite comfortable with public speaking. Omashola was next and as usual, his presentation was done with pidgin and street language.



KHAFI CRIES

In the late hours of Tuesday, Khafi watched as Mercy and Ike play Romeo and Juliet. After a while, she was seen crying over what could be assumed to be Gedoni’s absence in the house.




DIANE IS INSECURE?

While Diane and Elozonam were having their usual late night conversations, Diane actions showed that she wanted Elozonam to take their friendship and that she’s a bit insecure about his friendship with Tacha. Elozonam blamed his lack of movement on her refusal to kiss him during one of the Truth or Dare games (she opted to drink when she was dared to kiss him). He made her know that if she wanted their friendship to blossom, she had to stop giving mixed signals. 

Diane also thinks that Elozonam likes Esther because when asked who he might have dated if given the chance in the very first Truth and Dare they had when the new housemates came in, he mentioned Esther’s name. She felt Elozonam wasn’t being honest with her so she left the conversation. Whilst it was evident when the game started that Diane had a certain likeness towards Nelson, he didn’t reciprocate same. Rather, he chose to maintain camps with Esther who was supposed to be close friends with her. Definitely, she really can’t be blamed for how she feels.
