EFCC Reportedly Raids Former Gov Ambode’s Residence
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday reportedly raided the Epe residence of the immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.
The EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade, who confirmed this to DAILY POST, denied that they were at Ambode’s residence on a raid, explaining that they are only there for an investigation.
“It is not true, we don’t raid. Investigation is on-going in respect of the petition we have, that is why we are here,” he said.
Justice Chuka Obiozor of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, had on Tuesday, ordered the freezing of the sum of N9.9bn belonging to the Lagos State government but linked to former governor Ambode.
That's one major problem with the Nigerian state. Once you aren't in good term with the ruling power or useful to their biddings, then you are corrupt. The same malicious and selective EFCC is yet to investigate the bullion vans that came into Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu residence prior to 2019 elections.

Tinubu is not doing all these just cos of Ambode, he's just playing a movie for Jide Sanwo-Olu(I don't know the spelling biko lemme alone, but I know he's currently the governor of Lagos).
Ambode the retard could have broken Tinubu's bond on Lagos, but no, the degenerate fought both the house members he could have used against Tinubu during his good days, civil servants etc and refused to defect to another party when he lost the primaries, thinking Tinubu, the beast, will play nice.
Break Tinubu's power by taking advantage of those he depends on using and turning them against him, in ur favor!
