Minister Designate Senator Akpabio Dragged To EFCC And ICPC

Minister designer Senator Godswill Akpabio  still has soe skeletons he needs to sort out.......

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has petitioned Bolaji Owasanoye, Chairman Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and Ibrahim Magu, Acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Godswill Akpabio and Isa Misau over alleged diversion of constituency projects.

Akpabio was recently screened by the Senate after his nomination as minister by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The organization said: “If the ICPC and EFCC consider the recovered hospital equipment and six tractors allegedly diverted for the personal use of the senators as relevant and sufficient admissible evidence, we urge you to promptly begin prosecution of the former senators.”

  2. Didn't I say this few weeks ago that EFCC has suddenly gone mute over Akpabio's case else he won't have been allowed to be screened for a ministerial appointment. Where's the integrity of the one who appointed a thief like him to governed Nigeria? And why is Magu still acting chairman of EFCC for over five years? isn't that a shame? Bunch of jokers and disgraceful people.

  4. Oga, campaign and become a politician and stop hiding behind keyboard. If it were to be the other party. You wouldn’t be this vocal. You are unapologetically bias

  5. Why won't people with EFCC be given ministerial appointments? Senator Abbo is vice chair senate committee on Naval affairs - giving him naval might to continue his slapping. Former Sokoto governor is vice chair on antigraft matters. Aren't we a wonderful country? I love this "corruption" fight 😒
