President Buhari Mourns Students Who Died After Bridge Collapsed In School...
President Muhammadu Buhari deeply commiserates with the families of the students of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ABTU), Bauchi State, who lost their lives following the collapse of a bridge at its Gubi Campus after a downpour on Monday night.
The President, who describes the incident as “tragic, sad and unfortunate,” also condoles with the management, staff and students of the university.
Calling on university authorities to prioritise the safety of students under their care, President Buhari regrets that “these future leaders and potential family benefactors met such an untimely end.”
He prays Almighty God to console the bereaved families and university community, and grant speedy healing to the injured students, and rest to the souls of the departed.

Such a terrible loss. May their souls find rest. This could have been avoided and most accidents as well if only our roads and bridges are fixed to standard. There won't have been anything like collapsing in the first place.
Thank God for your brother's life and that of other survivors. Surely, no evil shall befall us as the Lord continue to order our steps to safety. RIP to the dead.
