    1. Ofada stew is not made with red pepper. You should use green ata rodo for it and loads of onions. Not to worry, green ata rodo is not as hot as the red. This is Lagos ofada, but as an Ijebu girl, it is sacrilegious to use red pepper. Also, blanch your palm oil before use, that is what gives it that transparent-close-to-vegetable-oil look.

    2. Green pepper is Ayamase. Different stew from Ofada. So called Ijebu girl, you know nothing. Buka stew is also different. Yoruba’s are the kings of stews. Lol.

  7. Please bvs half paint corn, half paint millet, half paint dawa, half paint soya beans, are these ok for tom brown? Should i add or reduce any.

  9. No peppery food in my house for now because of my daughter, I'd have tried it. Nice one.
    Breakfast is bean corn porridge, it will take time so we ate bread and drank fresh yo to tachiela the belly.

  11. Thanks for this stella. I'm going to make this soon. Alwyays wondered how to make Ofada rice like the ones in Lag. What is the best rice to eat with it. Is it regular parboiled, long grain or basmati? Please guys i need help
