    1. What do you mean? Before pointing your finger at them, do you understand the damage the government of Nigeria has caused its citizens? How many Australians, Americans or Canadians take drugs to these countries? Have you asked yourself why you will hardly see one of these people? The reason is because their systems are working very well for their citizens. In as much as I condemn the act, I will pour my anger more towards the government of Nigeria. If life was better, maybe these people, most especially the widow with two children who was executed, would have gotten help from the government, and maybe she would not have considered doing what she did.

    2. Anon 16:18, please do not let inferiority complex kill you!!

Citizens from the countries you mentioned barely head to the Middle East, especially after 9/11. Most times, even travelling to certain Middle Eastern countries can get your name flagged by Homeland Security.

Have you ever watched the show, "Banged Up Abroad"? Who are the people featured on that show? Their continents of choice are Asia and South America!

    3. 16:18, don't start with your blame game. Before APC government there has always been drug trafficking by nigerians to these countries. You act as if nigeria has ever been ok. About 20 years ago some prominent boys from kano were executed in Saudi Arabia and these has been going on non stop since time immemorial. If you don't have criminal tendencies, if you are not greedy, you will struggle like other nigerians no matter how bad. Are there no Nigerians without jobs even here on the blog that vow they will not commit crime or prostitute but would rather sweat to make ends meet? Blame everything on the government but not this one.

    4. Lots of African countries are worse, but u don't see their names too. Nigerians are greedy, and loves quick money. Lots of Nigerians would still carry drugs even if Nigeria was America. These folks are just greedy.

  8. This is an indictment on the security operatives at our international airports. Government spent billions installing scanners to detect woud be drug couriers, but what do we have, couriers still bypass all these cameras and scanners, how? A case in point is the incident at Aminu Kano International Airport where airport officials plant drugs in passengers luggage. And what did the authorities do about the incident, nothing, someone used his connections in government to extricate his daughter out
of death row in Saudi Arabia, claiming She knows nothing about how the drugs came in her luggage, shouldn't our airports be sanitized now and all these 'oga/madam wetin you bring for us' officials be transferred out of the airports, me I tire o

    1. There was a guy those those days in kano, I dont know if he was working for Nahco again, everytime international flight comes, he was the one being paid to carry consignments into the plain until one day when they set him up and he got caught. Most airport staff are into drug trafficking.

  10. My pain is that this one will not trend because its not igbos. If u like call me tribalistic, at this point I don't even care.

My point is a a whole lot of Nigerians are super corrupt and this makes me so ashamed of this country. We really need to stop limiting the fraud activities to just the igbo tribe. This here clearly proves that.

Nigerians, we really need to do better

  13. Saudi Arabia is about to execute some innocent people - I'm sure of it. This is coming on the heels of how airlines particularly Ethiopian Airlines and Egypt Air plant drugs in the luggage of Nigerians. The fulani girl who was pardoned was pardoned because of ties to the presidency. Abike Dabiri if you are reading this, do not rest until you have done all to ensure that only the truly guilty are punished. The complicit airline staff should also be executed. They are evil using innocent people as mules. Nigerians should also not be executed for kolanut. You ignorant Nigerians up there making careless comments remember people give a dog a bad name when they want to hang it. Do not join the world to spoil your own, it will come back to haunt you.
