    1. You are trying to say the floor of the palace isn't clean? Don't clean the chairs in your churches, oh! In fact, kukuma remove chairs entirely and tell people to sit on the floor. Shior!

    2. Fan, talk true.... if it were to be your inlaw and Chioma on the floor there, would you say this? Answer honestly oh.

    3. You want to compare this clean floor that even has rug, to your dusty church chair? You must be a pig if you honestly think anyone should sit on a dusty chair cos they came to your church.

    4. anon she's a mumu. that floor is cleaner than the plates in her dirty house. is that not how she defended dirty cindy yesterday. dirty fan

    5. Firstly dey ain't on the bare floor and that place is no where dirty and even your bible said in Matthew 22:21 to render to casear what is his and to God what is also his and also Romans 13:1 said "let every one be in subjection to governing authority". So because it's now church doesn't now mean you should sit on a dirty chair to prove a point. So this your talk no just follow

Even David with a higher profile wedding isn't making as much noise.

  10. It's like this is the new way to know, oh! Man can carry you to meet his family, you can kiss his mother's feet, get pikin sef and he will not marry you. But if he carries you (or your matter) to the king, the marriage dey happen. Didn't Davido carry Chioma there some time ago? Let me see another person say MIL approval is the koko or that African kings are just Paramount traditional rulers.

I sense a new trend. From "When am I meeting your family" to "What should I wear when we go to see the king of your place, please?"

  12. What kind of foundation are they laying for this marriage now? I thought they said Bambam is/was a church girl? Now she has yoked herself with this guy that confessed in bbnaija house that he didn't like Bambam initially because she was behaving churchy churchy. See now where it has landed her in Oni's shrine. It's Ok.

  18. The way some of you talk, shows why Nigeria is in trouble. Who told you that they went there to collect money? Or did you give the Ooni money to keep for them?

Everyone who goes to any palace goes there because they want something. But not everything is about money. When Isaac blessed Jacob, not even a dime was exchanged. Yet, Esau was so enraged that he decided to kill Jacob. Words from some people are not mere words. With some folk, if you're opportuned to meet them, ask for a blessing to be pronounced over you. Money can finish but the (spirit that produced the) blessing cannot.

The Ooni is regarded very highly by the Yoruba race. Basically their father. That's why he couldn't go physically to marry his wife. Trad marriage rites are done according to the tradition of the woman's people. A Yoruba in-law expects you to dobale (prostrate) when you're coming for their daughter's hand. On the other hand, the Ooni is literally not allowed to prostrate for any human being; it's an abomination. And in Yoruba tradition, where have you seen a father prostrate for his child? Yet, Olori Naomi had to be married properly. If not, that would be an insult to her family and to the Ooni. There is a way that things are done. The day I read what Sowore did (in the Ooni's palace) was the day I knew Sowore is a fool and cannot win any election. Teddy and Bam Bam went to the palace for a reason that had nothing to do with money.

Being educated isn't about twisting your tongue, speaking through your nose and refusing to learn certain things yet saying you made 2:1 from one university or another! Sometimes, open your eyes, look well and ask questions.

    1. Anon how do you expect this set of people to understand. They have no history, no heritage, no culture. They cant even state where they are coming from, they sometimes claim they are Jews from Jerusalem. So how will people without history understand culture.
Reason many of them don't have regard for elders. They use leg to wake their elders from mat in the literal sense. No regard

Not every thing is for bants and laughs: a lot of the previous posters are very silly people.
Also westernization has corroded y'alls minds like crazy. Talmbout foundation: how many church weddings collapse within 1 year these days. There's nothing wrong with African traditional religions.
