    10. 'Adults only' would have sounded nicer.

      Delete
    11. Exactly Adults only would have sounded better but its taking place in a village i dont know how many people during term time will start travelling there with kids

      Delete
    12. Nothing wrong with that. My invitation card did not include kids. There’s no space to seat for even adults, it’s now kids & nanny occupying space. Let’s not forget the rowdiness that comes with kids all over the place.

      Delete
    13. Nothing wrong with 'no children please' if you ask me. I went to an event recently with my three little cousins who are holidaying in our house and they occupied 3 good seats with all the goodies on the table meant for adults. In my mind I was like this is wrong and I was thinking if an adult wants one of the seats they would definitely have stood up. Nobody made provision for them. It's just wrong joor.

    3. Sexy Hips - most times, white doesn't carry legal weight cos most churches in Nigeria are not licensed. You can do your traditional and get your pastor to attend and bless it, go registry quick = you're married in every way and Heaven has been called to witness.

For me, registry was my main thing, my husband's main was trad. I've NEVER wanted a white wedding and man cannot drag me down the aisle especially as we're already married. I might wear an ivory dress for our vow renewal in a garden event for our anniversary later this year. My point is "white wedding" isn't a big deal.

    3. She doesn’t want the city ones to come cos she will compulsorily cater for the village ones that will hear the drums and wait for them at the gate. Na who you invite go see this ‘no children notice’. The uninvited kids ( the real owners of the venue) in the village no send this one oh.

      Delete
    4. Exactly Shyla. N.a. them be the real owners of the venue o.

I was ready for my village children during my trad. And I already had a revelation seeing plenty naked, dirty but very happy children weeks b4. I had a separate caterer for them strictly to make children friendly foods and snacks and drinks. Adults began to envy them.

      Delete
    3. Inside Biggie's house when the ladies were told to pick a male partner, all the females rejected him except Bambam. That was when he promised to pepper other ladies in the house with that promise I typed above.

      Delete
    4. So he married her to 'pepper' other ladies? How you guys think that marriage is a pepper unto other women is very funny. I'm never 'peppered' when anyone gets married, and I doubt that other BBN ladies even care. If anything I believe they are simply happy for them as well. And I'm not their fan but I doubt if that is Teddy's mindset at all. I didn't watch bbn but the females who rejected him were within their rights to do so. There's freedom of choice and association.

      Delete
    5. For selecting him in the house.
So other young girls should select men that people reject so that they can marry

I'll bet my lunch that the "no children" clause will offend some folks.

    This is Nigeria 😀😀

  19. NO CHILDREN PLEASE! This warning needs to be stated on all invitees. Some guests abuse the privilege of being invited to parties by taking along their children even neighbors'. Those children will now occupy all the spaces prepared for invited guests. Some parents are unfeeling that you dare not ask their children to vacate a seat for adult guest!

It is the belief of some people that anyone hosting a party has money to throw around.

    1. l agree. No Children. Children can distract, noisy and unruly. Even the best behaved children have their moment of madnrss. Not to talk of inconsiderate mothers bringing four childre, two maids and a frend and her own troop. Na dem dey first reach reception. Invited guests will not see where to seat. No children means NO CHILDREN!

  22. I like that "no children" clause, exactly how I planned on doing mine, strictly 18 and above. They should stay at home and watch cartoons

    ReplyDelete
  23. Congratulations to them. Didn't watch them in the BBNaija house but was attracted to them based on the love the public had for them after they left the house. At a stage, i thought they were the winners.

However, I find the "No children please" somehow for any couple to put on their IV. God forbid you put the clause in your wedding invite and yes after wedding, you are TTC, world people would remind you of the clause. (God forbid!)

They should have put "strictly by invitation" instead and let the Invitees know by the number of Access Cards they are given.

  31. Couples are within their right to add No Children to their invites. However, remember that many people whom you love and admire may not be able to attend your wedding because they don’t have a babysitter for their kids. If you include No Children on your invitation, be ready to accept some people being unable to come to your wedding

Children are not the problem, its their unwillingness to cater and arrange for them that i shudder at, a wedding should be a community occasion witnessed by all and sundry, when we begin to see kids as interruptions to our well being i know we are in trouble. Those kids are not d problem, its our unwillingness to accommodate them that is!
