Final Year Student Gunned Down By Suspected Cult Members...

The Cross River State University of Technology (CURTECH) has lost one of its students, Felix from Abi local government after he was shot while strolling in the company of his friends during the school's cultural week.

A witness who spoke in anonymity said five young men came out from a bush path, shot sporadically in the air and sprayed bullets into the victim killing him on the spot and retreating through the same path .

The incident threw the school into disarray and panic and many fled from the school for fear of a reprisal attack as it is feared to be a cult clash .

The police have launched an investigation into the incident . Irene Ugboh, Police Public Relations Officer for the state has said policemen are on ground to restore peace and order in the school.

  1. The pen they say, is mightier than the sword but today the reverse is the case. The end of it all is destruction. Wasted years in the citadel of learning.

    1. thats where u get to knoe the diffrrence between scholling and education.

in the year 2011, idefined education as the total accumulated knowledge that an individual has acquired physically, spiritually, economically, financially, psychologically etc from craddle to grave with the aim of using such knowledge to posotively affect the society but reverse is the case now

      what a pity

  10. Cultism is this century, wonder what people see in this devilish act, Cultism at some point was almost extinct, but is beginning to get popular. I'm sure our politicians have a hand in this menace, recruit boys to act as political thugs, give them arms and money they can only dream off, they oppress innocent kids and try to recruit them, yahoo isn't helping either.
