Why are people taking pictures of dead people? No empathy, rubbish!!
ReplyDeleteMay their souls rest in peace.
This is a very terrible news, too heartbreaking.
DeleteLord heal their hearts.
If the pictures were not taken, the govt would have lied about how serious it is. I was already seeing reports that only two people died before i heard of the video.
DeleteThe news reported that only two persons died, Na waooo. May the souls of the dead rest in peace.
DeleteBlood of Jesus!!! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
ReplyDeleteIt is a pity.. May their souls rest in peace
ReplyDeleteI am so sad
Oh no!! This is so sad! I pray comfort to those affected.
ReplyDeleteStella is so terrible, alot of people of burnt. A friend send me the video she was in the market with her friend they went to buy shoe. Thank God she is save and sound, imagine calling fire service and they said no water to come and put off the fire. What a dead country we came from.
ReplyDeleteWhich fire service? There’s no fire service in the whole of Anambra state. In case you didn’t know. It’s really sad, very very sad
DeleteAnon 2:04 there is..it's in awka.. I'm 100% sure of this cos I'm pursuing a contract with them but they are very unserious people
DeleteNigeria's fire service is not equipped for a class A fire talkless of this one that should be a class D. Fire has categories and fire fighters are trained to respond differently to each category. The equipment for small fire is not the same for huge ones. Any Naija fire fighter that dares the fire I saw in that video will most likely not make it. With their one truck of water. Naa, not this fire. Lord have mercy on us.
DeleteA lot of people?! Government reports have been making it look like two people (a woman and her baby) are the only casualties, oh! Meanwhile an OAP in Anambra says the market is still on 🔥
DeleteWhat a Black day @ Onitsha today..
ReplyDeleteSo sad, many burned bodies both big and small..
May their souls rest in peace..
God please console their families and loved ones....
Wow!
DeleteHow sad! Smh
This country is proving to be a zoo... too many avoidable deaths.
Jésù
ReplyDeleteOMG! God please take charge and comfort the families of those who lost their lives and possessions. May the soul of the departed Rest in Peace.
ReplyDeleteI stay in onitsha... A tanker fell at upper iweka and spilled its contents thereby catching fire.. The gas flowed from the gutter at upper iweka to Ochanja market, burning thousands of shops down.. Am currently sick sef.. I have been crying since 1 pm.. No fire service, no nothing. It was a gory sight.. Black Wednesday.. This is the worst of its kind
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry Ada.
DeleteI can't even begin to imagine the trauma. May God rest their souls
God gave mercy 😱😱😱
DeleteMay their souls Rest In Peace.
That's why you all need the hold your state government accountable.
DeleteWhat have they been providing for the state in terms f amenities, if a whole stat can't provide fire equipment for a market as big as that.
It is well dear...
DeleteMay their souls rest in peace...
God bless you Don..
DeleteStella where are the dead bodies, post them.
ReplyDeleteYou want to eat them? Smh
DeleteYou are an idiot for asking Stella that.
DeleteAbi! WAIT A WHILE.LINDA WILL POST THEM.Stella still has her sensitivity chip.
DeleteSo many deaths and burnt business. God help them all
ReplyDeleteGov obiano is the most useless governor in Nigeria...
ReplyDeleteAll he knows is to gather touts every junction and be harrassing traders and commuters
This is so bad. I feel so terribly sad.
DeleteObiano is just a very minute part of the problem the country has. Who is the head of the fire service system? Who are the firemen employed to do their job? Did they always check to know if there was water seeing as fire doesn’t give prior notice. No, they didn’t. Or they did and there was no water and they told their boss and they didn’t do anything about it.
Nigeria has an unimaginably long way to go. I swear! We need to start making sacrifices for our children at least. We need to do better. This needs to stop Abeg. Wherever you are, do all you can like your life depends on it. Even if it’s in a remote village as a youth Corp member, make a change, an jmpact. Changing the world around you, no matter how small, would change the world at Large.
This is the time the people of the state shoukd hold him responsible for a disaster like this.
DeleteI noticed the people of South east don't hold their government accountable but prefer to be talking about other states or Buhari, while you leave your states in the hands of morons and criminals spending big with their wife and family.
Don will you keep quiet? What other parts of Nigeria holds their government responsible? Which politician in this country behaves like a normal human being? They have all never been accountable to the people but their god fathers. All what they do is maximal looting and the governed will start pitching tents.YFI I'm not from the South-East. All the leaders we have today in Nigeria behave way below performance.
DeleteMay the souls of the departed RIP.
Don, just stop abeg, Anambra state gov is one of the best, markets burn in Lagos as well so please don't even start. The fire service should be held responsible abeg. Is it everything buhari checks?
DeleteAll of you asking if there is no fire service in Onitsha is there one in your state?? We have now conveniently forgotten the mess of a country we all live in and are asking unnecessary questions at a time of grief. How many of you know what entails in your state and are now asking for accountability. Look at Don who comes from a region that is the least developed in Nigeria asking such questions when we all know full well that your state barely has infrastructure. Keep pointing fingers while forgetting to check that your area is secure. The lesson to be taken from the fire incident has been lost as usual due to tribal sentiments. My sheeple who thrive on lack of knowledge
DeleteHoly Mary! Lord have mercy on us.
ReplyDeleteLater one hungry looking minister will say there is no hunger in Nigeria. People still fetch petrol from from fallen tanker, even after series of numeorus explosion in the past. So sad.
ReplyDeleteStop being stupid, Those that fetch fuel shoukd know better that they are playing with death.
DeleteDon't be stupid, stop blaming others when you know what people are doing is not good. It's nothing but greed.
Don one can not help but perceive your hate for Igbos from your comments. Even in a time of disaster like this? You really are a TERRIBLE human being and a tribalistic animal!
DeleteWhat if there was no hunger in the country, u really think they'll have to go pack petrol knowing how risky it may be?
DeleteNothing concern me if you're using victim car did she I said and take the way I see it. . Keep talking bout hating igbo whenever people say thier mind.
DeleteYour headache.
So sad,may the souls of those that died rest in peace and may God have mercy on those injured.
ReplyDeleteOh Lord! This looks real bad. What a tragedy.
ReplyDeleteMy hometown. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Very sad to say the least. People who woke up to go look for daily bread met their deaths in the most painful manner. God! May their souls rest in peace. The sorrow in their households this night and onwards. Smh.
ReplyDelete😥😥😥😥😥😥
ReplyDeleteThis just broke my heart. No fire serviceðŸ¤Nigerian leaders!God will judge you all😢
ReplyDeleteI couldn't watch the video on facebook, it was so heartbreaking, may God have mercy
ReplyDeleteOh no! This is bad, this is sad 😩. Lord have mercy! May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteThere is no fire service in Nig equipped for this category of fire. Our fire service still carry water on their trucks to respond to fire. Such passive response won't work for huge fires. We need to build fire hydrants all over the country especially in places prone to fire accidents eg huge markets. Or we can focus on prevention since we are never good at finding solutions. There should be new and strong policies mandating safety checks for all trailers/tankers and their drivers...step one. Both vehicle and driver needs evaluation and certification.
ReplyDeleteWhy this ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
ReplyDeleteOh Jesus... This is so heartbreaking... Fire service station supposed to be in that onitsha, cause that place is a very busy place. I'm shaking now
ReplyDeleteNigerians, stop behaving like animals and posting videos and gory pictures of dead people. Have some respect for the dead ow!
ReplyDeleteThis is a country where people will rather spend their time and energy on frivolities like Big Brother when BIGGER problems are on your hands.
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy. Oh! Onitsha, what a sad news. RIP to the dead.
ReplyDeleteSad l tank God for the life of my sister and her kids oh
ReplyDeleteAnd someone posted on Facebook that it's still ongoing
ReplyDeleteHa and my parents were in Onitsha yesterday...
ReplyDeleteNigerians will not see this kinda pple to raise and donate money for, to help them get back on their feet. If its useless thins like Team Tacha nw, they wil arise. ..rubbish!
