Guardiola Reveals What He Will Do If Liverpool Wins League After City's Defeat To Wolves

Manchester City lost to Wolves at the weekend opening Liverpool up to an 8 points clear lead on the premier league table..

In a press briefing after the game on Daily Post, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola totally ignored Manchester United while naming the teams around the top of the Premier League.

Guardiola shunned United when talking about teams challenging for the top four this season.
He also said that he will congratulate Liverpool if they win the league ahead of Man City.

He named Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester when discussing the current battle in the table.
“It’s too early,” Guardiola said when asked by the press to predict the title race.
“There is one team above the others – Liverpool – and then another, us, is close.
“I don’t know how big the gap is for Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester and the other ones.
“It’s not too big and there are only seven games gone.

“Liverpool is a little bit of a faster horse than the other ones but it is too early for me.
“It is too early to say whether it will be for one, two or three teams.”

Liverpool opened up an eight-point gap over Guardiola’s City on Saturday but the former Barcelona boss is not feeling too worried at this stage of the season.
“It’s not about being concerned,” he said.
“They have tough fixtures but we have tough fixtures too. It’s not about them.
“I don’t know the Liverpool schedule but I know my schedule quite well.
“The next month to a month-and a half I know exactly what is ahead. I’m not concerned.

“If they are in this run and we don’t win, I will congratulate them.
“All we can do is try to maintain our level and play better every game then see what happens.
“We are in the first days of October and we finish in May so there are a lot of games and competitions to play, a lot of different situations and good and bad moments to handle.”

  1. Oh my sweet Pep, I couldn't read comments on Man City's Instagram page and on twitter after that match.

I saw the final score on Facebook and I couldn't stop thinking. It's heartbreaking. Reading comments would have ruined my day. I can't stand the hate.

Ah, may God help you, Pep! May God help you!!

  2. Man Utd is out of top 4 this season already, they're worst under Ole, no wonder Mourinho said he's greatest achievement was finishing second when he was their manager, their current form is nothing to write about.

Arsenal is just one point below Man City, Emery has been very illogical about his Team selection, if not, Arsenal is a bit better this season. In other news, Pepe is a big fraud sold to Arsenal
