Prophet Godswill Abbey Issues Press Statement Over Miracle Vixen Brouhaha

Prophet Godswill Abbey one of the 6 Pastors accused of faking miracle with the woman with disabled right arm breaks silence..

PRESS RELEASE ON ALLEGED FAKE MIRACLE ACCUSED ON OUR SENIOR PASTOR

Ambassadors of Christ Assembly as a church vehemently discredit the rumours making rounds that a certain woman was paid by our General Overseer/Senior pastor, Prophet Godwill Abbey to fake miracle. We reiterate that lots of persons have been healed through the healing power of Jesus Christ in our services and many are presently members of the church.

Ordinarily we should ignore such rumours as we know its mere accusations that will phase out but it became pertinent to clear the air.

On one of our regular thursday midweek services, a lady came to church and sat amongst the sick believing God for healing and was brought out for prayers, while asking the man of God to help her, she explained that she had been to different churches with her arm disability and after prayers she gets healed and after a while it returns, the General Overseer had compassion on her and prayed for her, right there she got healed.
However she was a visitor and left the church after service and the church have not had any interraction with since then, it is also important to note that prior to her attendance neither our senior pastor nor pastors knew her.

Shockingly we woke up on thursday to the news about her miracle being rumoured to be fake, we wish to state categorically that God heals and is supreme, if she received her healing in other places and the infirmity returned should the church have turned her back?

Lastly we just got wind that she has been interviewed by pressmen and she stated clearly she went to the different churches in search of healing as the illness reoccures after she has been prayed for, she also testified that not a dime was given nor received from our Prophet, Godswill Abbey, her video is online for verification.

We urge members of Ambassadors of Christ Assembly to remain steadfast and not be dissuaded by this rumours , we also urge the general public to allow investigations unravel the truth .

We invite the doubting Thomases to our services to see for themselves the mighty power of God through Jesus Christ.

God has been using his servant, Prophet Godswill Abbey for over 13 years and there are many testimonials to the great things God has done through Him,as a church we wish to state that we stand with our Senior Pastor at this time, knowing that all things work together for the good of those who love God.

Signed

Michael Joseph
Church Secretary

    3. At least he's not lying, all these pastors are fake and scammers.
      That's the truth.
You all shouldn't be a bigot but say the truth when needed.

    4. Same as fake imams and malams. Same thing happening in the church is happening in the mosque in nigeria too. Fake pastors or rapists all abound in the mosques too.

    5. We should blame the fake pastors making mockery of Christianity. Go to their churches today I am very sure everywhere was filled with brainwashed worshippers of men. The sheeple refuse to be freed and it's sad.

    6. Nothing like that in Islam please. If you go and meet a private Alfa that claims he can do and undo and he does whatever with your life, that’s your problem. Just show me a video of an Imam performing miracle? They can’t claim such, Imams are paid by Mosques organizing committees who employed them in the 1st place. If you now join an organization and decide to do things outside of the Islamic injunctions and doctrines, it’s your personal problem. Islamically u are just to go to the mosque, observe your solat and go home. That’s why any Muslim can go into any mosque anywhere in the world and pray.

    7. When l say people misunderstand me here, the replies under this thread is what l am referring to. Once it's about religion, people loose their senses and try to throw shots for no just cause. What's my business whether it's a Pastor or Alfa involved? Whichever the religion the person claim to subscribe to, whoever performs such fake miracles like the pastor above is a fake cleric, be it Pastor or Alfa.

Some Imams too are evil. Theydefile kids put under their care. They kill for rituals too.
As we have fake pastors so also are fake Imams.

  4. Bloody liars! All of them including the miracle vixen. Please ask yourself how many real disabled people have these scam pastors healed, as in a real cripple or an amputee getting his or body part regenerated in front of the congregations, not the one the use white bandage to cover. The woman has a Talent, a medical condition, and those pastors in connivance with the woman, decided to cash in.

  5. They are all now singing the same thing "she was healed after she came to our church but on getting home after few days the healing disappears" Chris Okafor said the same thing while defending himself. So that means the 'god' of all these pastors don't heal permanently? That makes it Abrakadabraaaaaa then. So it still boils down to fake power.

  7. Hide your head in shame.. You're nothing but a fake pastor.
I won't say more thsn that.

  8. The healing would've been permanent if one of these pastors had arranged for her to get surgery at an orthopedic hospital. Buy no, they want publicity for their miracle centres.
Religion has really blinded us in this country .

  9. What's all these.....God can never be mocked. When he heals he heals permanent, what's all these nonsense they are all saying.

  10. Akuko na egwu!

You people just make a mockery of religion and give non-believers ammunition needed to mock us.

  11. You will never see these said pastors go into a general hospital to heal people or go into the morgue to raise the dead. If they know that their "power" is real let them do that. For example, look at the mien of this pastor, now seriously, is this a pastor? these bleached out snake oil salesman? I pity people whose lives Nigeria has so messed up that they go looking for solutions to their problems in churches led by these kind of men.

  12. FATHER LORD, please keep exposing these "Imposters and Fraudsters"!

  13. The woman needs to be arrested and the truth illicited from her.Enough of all this nonsense. The damn problems we have is sheer ignorance and these so called pastors take advantage of that to exploit us.The question I am still asking is despite the glaring and obvious signs depicted in that unholy drama that these niggars are crooks, some gullible members are still there waiting for further miracles.People have lost their sense of reasoning and remain perpetually poor in life dueto the exploits of these dubious pastors.May God forgive me.

  14. When God heals HE heals permanently. I have never heard of God giving temporary healing

  16. I know an old pastor whose mission was to raise someone from the dead, this was his greatest Ambition as a minister. Well, he ended up partially blind, and up to now he cannot heal himself from his blindness. He couldn't even bring himself back to wholeness all these years later, but had ambitions to raise the dead back to life. God cannot be mocked, and everyone who mocks God and take his name in vain will meet their bountiful harvest.

  17. Pls read your bibles...people loose teir miracles...disbelief and even sin makes us prone to fall into same ailment after deliverance..
The story of evil spirits castes away into pigs ....they left and after a while the returned in 7 times more powerful..Yes God's healing is supposed to be permanent yet as men and flesh we are prone to sin which makes ourliving bodies prone to attacks.
