Good Morning!

Are you already at work or you dey for go-slow?That word go-slow is a naija coined word cos the day i mistakenly used it with someone from another Country, the person stopped what they were doing and asked me why i would want her to go slow...it was in a salon...
I had to explain it to her that it was slow moving traffic...Go-slow!!!

Kisses to you all

    11. Sponge, seems you are having allergy to some thing you are. First you need antihistamines to stop the itching then you can use cream like the person up there advised you. Also check what you eat from now incase you have a repeat which I hope not.
Person asking for travelling insurance, why don't you ask from a travel agency? They should have a better idea.

  3. DO NOT GIVE UP!
    (God Has a Plan)

“But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” - 1 Kings 19:4

This is Elijah the major Prophet and Patriarch praying for death to come to him because of the pressures of life. In the previous chapter, he had called down fire from heaven, fought a major battle and killed over 800 false prophets, and then ended three and half years of drought by the declaration of his mouth. Now he had just received death threats from a major principality in the form of Jezebel which caused him to despair.

A combination of all these things had left him worn out and tired to the point that he wanted to give up on life! Elijah was a great man of God through whom mighty miracles had been performed. Yet, that did not exempt him from feeling emotional pain and tiredness.

But the good news is God has a plan; He always does! David declared; “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25). David could confidently say this because he had seen enough evidence of the presence of God. Today, I say to you, do not give up! God will never leave you nor forsake you.

You are blessed and highly favoured.

    Good morning all.

    1. Good morning Ola.

Me Ayam here to thank BBC for their undercover series. Especially the sex for marks film. Why is it that they will be using the Bible to perpetrate their nefarious activities? Why should staff club be a place they use to shag students? There is usually a network of lecturers involved in this and they support each other in victimising students.
      Government must do something.
      Lawmakers must do something.
Our religious institutions must take a hard stance. And the institutions themselves should go beyond having sexual harassment policies to actually aiding students.

      Once again thank you BBC.

This man failed me when I clearly passed news writing and reporting. When I confronted him, he said I should make a report to the school governing team. That nothing will come out of it. That was how I jejely left with my lower level to another school. Thank God the world us changing.

  7. So, we have just been discharged after spending so many days in the hospital.  I was strong all through even when my son could no longer breath well and had to be put on oxygen.  his case was quite critical but i kept telling him he would be fine and held on to God to see us through . I was really scared but tried to be strong for him. We just came back home and i had to wash all the dirty clothes we came back with. After washing and rinsing, i went out to spread them, forgetting to turn off the tap. Only to return and see everywhere from the bathroom to the room is flooded. The clothes in the ghana must go bag, shoes on the floor, books, everything soaked! I just sat down on the bed and burst into tears. I couldn't hold back again,  everything i have been through this past days is all coming back to me. I can't even explain exactly why i am crying. Maybe i have been trying to be strong for too long. I actually feel a lot better now after letting out the tears.

  15. "Hey, what's the matter? Don't you knock or something?" She asked, her eyes popping out of sockets as she reached for her clothes.
    I scoffed.
I scanned the room. Ikenna said my pictures were plastered all over his walls. I didn't see any.
I waited for him to come in and say whatever the crap he had to say. I needed an explanation. But he remained outside.
"Are you Ikenna's girlfriend?" I asked her. She was decent now and very pretty.
    "Yeah, kind of". She said.
    "Are you too?" She asked.
    I smiled sadly. She understood.
    "You school here?" I inquired.
    "IMSU". She answered.
"You came for the party?" I asked.
"I didn't know there was a party. Ikenna called me around 11pm, his friend picked me at Naze junction sometime around 11:30. When I got here I was mad at him for not telling me he was organizing a party. He said it was a last minute thing and didn't want to stress me. Now I know why. The bastard! He invited you first! "
"How long have you been dating?" I asked her.
"About three years, on and off. Guys are cruel!" She spat.
"Tell me about it". I said absent mindedly.

I was hungry, tired, heartbroken and helpless.
"I have to go. Take care". I carried my bag and walked towards the door. Someone stepped in, a guy. He led me outside.
"Please can I talk to you for just a minute?"
I saw Ikenna sitting on the pavement like a defeated soldier, his eyes bloodshot. He wore a tee shirt his friend might have given him. He stood up when he saw me. I ignored the guy and walked towards the exit. By now, about fifteen people were outside.
"This is just a misunderstanding, everything can be resolved. Just relax and listen". Ikenna's friend ranted.
"Thanks but don't bother" I said.
"Baby I'm sorry, I didn't know you were coming. That girl means nothing to me. I love you".
    I didn't say a word to him.

I had very little cash but enough to pay my bike fare to a bank. I was back to Nsukka before 2pm.
Chidimma saw me and was surprised.
    "What happened?" she asked.

  17. I burst into tears. She understood and led me to the room. She comforted me as I recounted my horrible experience, told me I'd be fine and that love was inexhaustible. I'd find someone better, she said. But who could be better than Ikenna? That night, I soaked my pillow in tears.

I moved on a few months later but the scar of wounded love remained. I rejected calls and plea messages from Ikenna and his friends. I avoided boys, even the ones Chidimma introduced me to were soon fed up with my aloofness. I cared less.
One day, after lectures, someone was waiting for me outside the hall.
    "Ifeyinwa". He called.
"Uzoho". I wasn't expecting him. "What are you doing here?"
"I've been looking for you, I didn't know you were in third year, been searching for you amongst your first year students. So today, I asked a second year student who fortunately, knows you. So, here am I, my good friend".
"Who's your friend?" I asked laughing.
"Well, considering what we passed through, I'd like to think we're friends. Don't you think so?" He joked.
"So how was your trip, how is he?" He asked.
    "Fine". I said.
We walked to my hostel, he made funny jokes while we went. I laughed genuinely for the first time in a while. He didn't ask any further about the trip, he knew somehow I didn't want to talk about it.

Uzoho's visits became frequent and there were times I was really hostile but he never gave up. I grew to really like him, I realized I was fond of him. One fateful evening, I opened up to him about what really happened after we parted that day. The road incidents and the shock that awaited me at my boyfriend's abode. Before then, he assumed I was still dating Ikenna because I made it seem so.
"So you went through all that? I'm so sorry. I'd have insisted you went with me".
    I chuckled.
"Uzoho, there was nothing you ever could have done or said that night to change my mind".
"Well, experience is the best teacher, eh? That must hurt. But I'm here now and you can lean on me".

I hissed. He held my hand.
"I love you. Why do you think I looked for you? I couldn't get you off my mind after that trip. I'm not Ikenna, I could never do to you what he did. Just give me a chance and let me love you".
I looked into his eyes and gently leaned on his shoulders. I felt safe and warm once again.

    The End.

    Good morning Stella and BVs.
This story is not a fiction. Names were just changed. I'm the true life Chidimma and Ifeyinwa was my friend. However, some conversations in the story were made up by me. The robbery incident happened but I used my once personal experience with armed men in the narrative.
And now to the shocker: Ifeyinwa and Uzoho dated until after school but couldn't get married because of an age long system. Ifeyinwa is married to Ikenna who resurfaced later and together they have a child.

    Goodmorning beautiful people.

  19. Morning my people.
A relation has an accident and broke his arm.
I want for scan to confirm xray to confirm it and there they directed him to a private hospital for pop.
    He opted for pop.
He went back for the cast to be removed, by the day the doctor asked him to come.
The doctor removed the cast, did another xray (didn't show him d result), then asked him to come back in 2 weeks time. And said he can start using The hand to light only light weight.
The anoying part is d fact that, whenever they visit the hospital, they have to pay a registration fee of 3k. Before they are attended too.

Now when they went back yesterday, the doctor told him the bone didn't cast/ heal and showed them the stay he did weeks back, which confirmed it. And asked them to buy some drugs (again) which they did.
Now, my question is, isn't the hospital wrong, isn't it their responsibility to ensure the hand is fixed since it was paid for in full?
How does buying medicine (other ways of extorting them) fix a broken arm?
If they didn't do the pop well are they not to re-do it on their own expense?
Doctors , hospital owners and dear BVs, pls advice.
I was really angry when I was told (Cos the relation is considering going the local way to avoid the hand getting deformed).
Is this how it is done or the Doctor and hospital did wrong and they ought to take up the responsibility?

    1. Haaa It is wrong But most cases of bone stuff...I prefer you mix both Orthodox and Ijaw medicine...See if Ijaw people handle that his arm for him, it will feel brand new..Most hospitals are rather careless and callous these days..why..

    2. If you're in Lagos,I'll kindly suggest you take your relative to Igbobi hospital at Fadeyi before something that arm becomes irredeemable.

    3. I don't blame people who head straight to the local bone healers when something like this happens. My brother had the same experience. Carried pop or is it casts they call it for weeks and ended up with the traditional bone healer. It was not a nice experience.

      Delete
    4. That hospital is just doing business. An X-ray was supposed To be done before the cast was removed.

      Delete
    5. My dear please take your relative to those traditional bone setters and stop wasting your time and money in that hospital. I had a similar experience during NYSC, spent money in hospitals, na one old man along Keffi-Abuja road fix am finally.

    5. @martins please I need your help, been trying to run fb ads with my phone on business manager site.

Using Google Chrome, but whenever I try checking my audience insight, the menu where I'm supposed to check from doesn't come up, but it comes up on some other people's phone.

Is the problem with my phone? (I use a tecno camon 11) is there something else I can do to overcome this? I really want to be able to run ads by myself with my phone.

Please help! Sorry for the long text.

    6. My dear WEB I could be wrong, but based on experience, since with only a year's difference he still sees you as Methuselah, my advice to you is to back off. Because in time he will begin to act like he is doing you a favour. My dear go for the one who cherishes you regardless.

    7. What Else Bitch age does matter when it is a generational difference but this your type doesn't matter o, after all Prince Harry is younger than his wife by three years and he loves her, a friend of mind is older than her husband by 3years and the guy, a multi millionaire loves her like craze and anything that makes her happy he is always for it. This your maryamaka dressing should stop be beautiful and trending okay. From your name I use to think you are one hell of a slick babe, please stop this Queen Elizabeth thing o.
