Debtors everywhere, people just keep asking, when you say you don't have, they will tag you as wicked,forgetting that you might also be in need of money desperately..

DeleteBut sincerely why do people like buying things without paying or delay payment till when you get tired of asking? please bvs help me judge this matter. There's a customer i know through a friend, truly she often patronize me and i don't even charge her for delivery. She buys like a dozen pay for half and won't pay up until i ask her, and even when i ask, she'll say i'll pay and still yet she won't pay. I delivered to her last sunday, i dropped account number because she says she'll transfer, i didn't get payment until i had to remind her yesterday and tell her what she's doing to me isn't fair, she buys and hold back my payment till i have to practically beg for it, she got upset and told me to come collect my money. Was i wrong for asking for payment of products sold? i got to her house thinking she'll rake only for her to finally pay. I felt bad yesterday. How do a business person satisfy customers and also get paid without debtor drama? How do you maintain relationship with clients without debt drama? When i started business, i had to stop for like a while because i started again because of debts hanging here and there. Stella, please kindly do post, i need insights on this.
ReplyDeleteMy dear you have to be firm or else they will run you out of business. Maintain a good relationship but separate your business from friendship. Let them know you as one who doesn't joke with her money. You may need to stop selling on credit.

I realized that the only times i had exchanged bad words with people were on issues about paying back loans i graciously gave them.
Now i have no more enemies bc i stopped lending or helping. One idiot even had the audacity to come begging for one more chance after life hooked her. Someone that sent me a text that I am a horrible person bc i asked for my money back after 6 months of dribbling me.
