  2. Hahaha this reminds me of my computer lesson tutor, that's how she got a job at one insurance company and heard after some days how the staff complained of not being paid for more than six months yet they all saw money flowing in but no show, she just had to tender her resignation letter.

    4. But biko, when praying, don't use abbreviations for God. God is not a God of confusion, he loves precision. Say that FETHA AND NAUTH in full so God would not assume its a typograohical error on your path and implant a "fetal" beat in your womb or send you to the "North"

  21. I once advised a potential employee not to seek work in my firm. Boss pays for the first 2-3 months, then the rest na audio salary. Honestly the private sector in Nigeria is similar to a Slave camp.

  24. It's better that it's your first day because you can stop work immediately. It's when you've worked one month and you expect to be paid and hear that, that's when you are screwed. Transportation, feeding, new cloth money etc that you wanted to pay back with your first salary.

  27. Why do people remain in a job where they are not paid? The money you borrow to go to work everyday, why not borrow it to start a business? I'll rather humble myself and do food business than stay at a place where i am not paid.

I'm surprised people still hustle for government jobs that are notorious for holding people's salaries and pensions. I believe those who hustle for such jobs are lazy people who just want a place to sit and earn money. Innovative people would never aim for government jobs notorious for not paying.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But classing ppl as lazy for doing government jobs is not only stupid it is evil. Doctors at government hospitals, teachers in public schools, police officers, and administrative staff that help you to get your documents, passports, driver's license are All government workers. What if they all decided that they no longer want to do government jobs, how would the country function? Serving your country and people is a nobel desire, it is not their fault that the government is incompetent.
