ReplyDeleteRunning a foundation for a decade and still not being able to show any tangible change in one person's life after that time is why nobody is giving. Where are the projects completed? the elevation in lives? the good reputation of your foundation? A foundation should not be used as a PR opportunity for you, it should be completing its mandate yearly. Plus, waiting for some rich man to just knock on your door and hand you a fat check is unrealistic. Why are you not holding fundraising events? Why are you not pounding the pavement with all your contacts looking for the money to help the children you supposedly care about so much? You can't be claiming to want to help others but is so full of pride that you can't beat your foot to the pavement and go look the money to change lives. Everyday dress up, paint up face, take pictures, ordering food from outside and expect a money man to just magically show up on your doorstep because your foundation just crossed his mind and he has billions to donate, better get your head out of your ass and get real. Madam..Tonto..you opened a foundation because you want to help ,its not compulsory people join you in your cause but if they do and support all well and good.

This lamentation of yours sounds like someone who opened a foundation for the sole purpose of making profit. (Isnt that why most foundation owners start up a foundation in the first place ?)
