Actress Uche Ogbodo Exposes What Celebs Might Never Tell You + Says Fame Is A Scam..

Hmmmmm!!!This Write up by Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo is a must read......
She talks about what celebrities go through to stay viral.....

This is So True , I Even Cried This Morning for No Specific Reason. , I know my Haters Will Start Jumping Up now and thanking their Babalawo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. ..
.
The unspoken truth is that "some" celebrities are constantly fighting very familiar demons... The deepened emptiness and void they feel and must fill with the next hit, the next drag, the next feel or the next high!
On the outside, they may seem like the happiest people on earth but many cry themselves to sleep with their thoughts bouncing off the walls of the pressure society puts on them and sadly those that they put on themselves..

The pressure to live up to unrealistic expectations... To make the headlines... To outdo each other... To be be most spoken off... The pressure of the hate , jealousy and envy masked behind contoured faces as betrayals and treachery are the order of the day!

Some have never ever felt real love as everyone around them from family and friends are there just for what they can gain and get...

Many are lonely but not because of the absence of company but the absence of true direction and purpose!

So its all about the next post to go viral, the next outfit and the next lie to be lived! Social media has created attention hungry monsters that must ride on everything and anything! Depression is hidden in false impression and anyone can lay claim to stardom! But make no mistake, behind their smiles is a desperate cry for help!!! ________________________________________________

In the end.....The real scam is Fame!'

  2. Even those who are not celebrities, slay queen's,those who live above their means, those who go broke trying to make people think they are not broke, those living for the world
Those who don't a material but want a coat,
    They are easily depressed.
Those who live in constant comparism

  3. Pure truth. Lots of things are masked behind the glitter, makeup & flashy attires. Even as a non-celeb, the pressure to always be at your best is there, talk more of one who is desperate for attention.

    1. I try to understand the intricacies of stardom, but the part I don't understand is why regular people like myself perhaps, try to put so much pressure on themselves!
I for one live life at my own pace, no pressure, no bullshit I don't try to impress anyone be it real or virtual people.

I am not on any social media. From Instagram to Twitter to whatever. I have never even had a Facebook account all my life!
I am the only person I know that is like me. Even on this blog, my profile has been on private from day 1. My life is, if you don't know me, you can't contact/have access to me.
Life is simple, and I keep it so.

      Privacy is bliss...

Live life on your OWN Terms

  6. Old story.. she is also guilty as charged but probably toning down as per irrelevance setting in, we know they are all Fake and Instagram has worsened it for some of them.. I wonder why they can't just be themselves like actors and socialites abroad who don"t give a hoot and wear their joggers with a tank top to anywhere but can afford any designer wares. And most top designers give to these top international stars free outfits and accessories and they can afford it too because they earn millions of dollars per movie but here our actors who earn paltry sums in movie fly first class by owing Travel agencies and pay half and half Whyyy?? and go to Louis Vuitton shops to buy a bag of 7,000 dollars Whyy? When you can wait and buy the same bag during sale. Just like the ones who called themselves fantastic 4, uche ,omoni and the other two kept showing off in Dubai, but the same Dubai Tourism Board paid millions of dollars to Hollywood actresses to make a short movie showcasing Dubai forgetting that our actors, musicians, are their greatest patrons, I saw the clips on ENews 2 days ago and I was so upset. It's only when you see them life, you will understand it's all a smokescreen

    1. Good point you raised but I personally applaud her for being real with this write up;shows she's at a point where she probably desires to be free from all the pressures and unnecessary shenanigans.
And just as an aside darling, Louis Vuitton and all such like brands do not do sales as you suggest up there. They are highly ostentatious brands and they produce with the intent of selling to a few who are equal to the price tag. Daalu

God will come through for you all.
Come to think of it, celebrities like Genevieve Nnaji don't dress up to snap pictures every other day, she doesn't stir up controversy or post false acquisition to make headlines. I follow her on Instagram, she only posts a normal looking picture once in a while.
Now why can't y'all be like that and stop the competition.

    1. They put themselves under pressure!!!

They can decide how to live their lives irrespective of what society says but they choose otherwise!!

    2. It Tell you. They put themselves under so much pressure and look older than their real age, masking their real faces with make up and filters

    3. Genevieve is the only Nigerian celeb that I follow on IG. The rest have nothing worthwhile to teach or show except vanity and foolishness!

  8. This is so true, most times we get carried away by the vanity of this world, forgetting our true purpose of life. The key to happiness is God, seek HIM and see how your life will turn around.

  11. Fame cannot do for you what only God can.

Some entertainers and moguls you look up to are depressed and their minds are broken, because the stuff they flaunt that you envy them for, the stuff you see and call the trappings of success, can't make anyone happy or satisfied. It's not a fad and they're not joking. Even awards, magazine covers and massive Instagram followership don't make you happy if you're not already happy. So, if your value is in those things, you panic cos every other person who's minding their own business is a threat. You allow yourself get drawn into foolish arguments about who is the greatest of all time. Even if you rig stuff, you can't win every single award in every category. So, even if you win four in the same night, you start beefing the person that won just one. The drugs, booze and groupies don't make you cool; you look stupid. These are things people indulge in when they're trying to escape.

People who are hungry for fame, really want glory. And unfortunately, that's literally the only thing God wants to keep for Himself (Luke 4: 6 - 8). Everything else, He's okay with sharing or just giving. But the glory thing is a huge deal.

You cannot drag glory with God and it will be well with you. If you try, one of His reactions is usually to allow you acquire everything you think you can acquire. Your name will be in lights and on the lips of everyone. Your face will be everywhere. People will be queuing up for blocks throughout the day, just to see you. Brands will pay you millions to endorse their products. Designers will fall over themselves to dress you. They'll be crying on Instagram if you don't acknowledge them. Stylists and jewellers will do the same. You will not be able to eat peacefully in any restaurant. Paparazzi will stalk you everywhere. Men and women will covet what they see you appear to have. Folk will hang onto your every word. You will buy the house, the private jet, and the new bum or hips. He will actually allow you - just so that you can find out by virtue of very personal experience of dissatisfaction that glory was never supposed to be yours. So that you will understand that His original plan was for you to reflect His glory, not steal it.

Talk about trying so hard to sound intelligent...

    3. Dear Anon 9:35, I do not think Uche Ogbodo intended to steal from Pascal Amanfo. Her first paragraph began with "This is so true.. ". This implies that she was confirming what someone said. However, she could have presented better by tagging him. Please do away with insults. Thanks

  15. See, don't overdo yourself. Personally, I will be like Genevieve if I was famous. it all stems from who you really are. in my life as someone that's not famous, I don't compete with my friends. I look for peace of mind. I use social media but I will never let pressure get to me. I never aim at outdoing others. I recognize my growth and progress. All I'm trying to say is that even in this our Instagram age, you can still be yourself. Na una dey put pressure for una body

  18. Odiegwu o! The struggle to be seen as balling has made so many people depressed. People should learn to live within their means celebrity or not, life is tough as it is, why make it tougher just to please people.

    1. You their fans help them pressure themselves. Mary Remmy the other day was confronted because she did not look like she’s balling. Chizzy Alichi was constantly tackled because she does not wear designer brands. Somebody in the comment section one time was reprimanding Yvonne Jegede saying “this girl has refused to blow” and so many others. So they keep living their lives for you world people to keep validating them and comparing who blows/ balls more than the other. Some of them go to any length to get validated. Look at when Genevieve took a bikini picture and got validated, there was tension among them, every Tom, Dick and Harry in the industry took bikini picture (filter their bodies) to also get validated. Because fans will always compare their bodies and shame whose bikini body is not like Genevieve’s. In as much as they pressure themselves, we world people also drag the weak ones into it.
