      Dear I get u, partners should learn to be sensitive and a bit respectful even when paying complimentary remarks about the opposite sex. I once had a date who can't not stand me even talking about any ex, but fed me daily about his escapades and would tell out compliment to actress with big ass.       @Anon 08:03,check the top of your screen,do you see a "Star sign" or "An Asterisk"??
      If yes;then your phone is on priority mode..

      Remove it from "Priority mode" by sliding down your screen from the top then search for "priority" from The pop up screen and deactivate..

      Also press the volume key and see if the option would appear below the "Notification option"

    I am in a good mood today,not because my place of work is wonderful but because I have a beautiful family.Two of my brothers are home and it's been lovely(I'm the oldest but only girl,so I'm still their baby)I get home and forget all about work,wonderful right? *smiles

    The idea that God will always get you what He promised through the quickest and most logical route - is false. He can take you via the "scenic route"...

    No matter how many Scriptures you try to quote to manipulate God, you can't actually control what or when He speaks about your specific situation. That something is in the Bible, doesn't mean it's talking to you at all or at a given time. Even when you identify His Will, you have to deal with His Way and His Time. In my second year of trying and waiting for uni admission, I was praying about it and remember hearing the Spirit of God say I'd go to uni. I assumed it would be that year cos that was the first time I actually got an answer. I honestly don't know if the reason I didn't hear when or where it'd be, was cos He didn't say or I left the place of prayer before I heard complete. I was so sad when it didn't happen that year. I thought I must have heard wrong or God had abandoned me, etc.

    When a year later, something that looked like an opportunity came along and I said "No", I thought I'd die. Scrap that. I actually wanted to die. People said a lot of things - fortunately, God doesn't release promises based on public opinion. I was truly shook-eth and confused when that year ended and nothing happened cos I was so sure that "cos I honoured God by refusing to compromise, He'll immediately turn it around". Lol! That was when I learned that it's not all "I stand for God and if I perish, I perish" that will be followed by "What do you want, to the half of my kingdom". Sometimes, you will just enter a Dan 3:21 situation.

    It wasn't till two years ago (many years after I'd graduated from uni that I was so afraid I wouldn't get to attend), that I actually began to understand WHY it HAD TO take so long. It had to be a specific uni, a specific time - there were particular people, courses and activities I had to encounter for reasons I could never have imagined. I didn't hear wrong and when it looked like God was ignoring me, He was being strategic - not forgetful or careless.

    Sometimes, you're not ready to hold the promise - even if it's yours. There are times when the promise isn't ready for you and some things need to be shifted out of the way or into place first. It could also be that God just wants to check your heart - whether you trust Him more than you desire what the promise represents (Gen 22:2), or if your conscience will allow you try to get to His promise in your way and time (1 Sam 24:4).

    Good morning wonderful people. Our exam will end today, thank God. School vacates on Friday 13th of DEC.
    From Monday 16th of December I will start going round to submit my CV. I don't want a teaching job again but how will I get a job that will pay me up to 30k, a Monday to Friday job in this Ibadan? I'm just tired.

    Anon of yesterday that suggested I go drop my daughter with my mum and move in with my friend in Lagos , it's not possible. My mum is in the village, in a dilapidated house, managing herself. I can't remember when last I sent her money. That village was also where I was abused several times as child of under 5yrs. Memories..

      I was introduced to 3 job agencies in ibadan when I was looking for job and between the 3 i got 7 interviews within two weeks. I opted for the highest pay though.you can also go through the job agencies too not just submitting CVs alone.explore other options. God is your strength.
