ReplyDeleteSo yesterday, Chiki and I had plan for a movie date, you know, before work starts, travelling up and down, hustle and bustle, we just needed something quiet.
Well, we decided a time, place and all. After plenty give me 5 mins, I'm coming (story for another day 😋) etc etc, we met at the mall just in time.
Went in and most of the movies were much later, only movie within our time frame was Merry Men which had started 5 mins before. We got our tickets, got popcorn and went in. Cos we were late (or so), we didn't flow immediately. Matter of fact, my popcorn finished barely 30mins in cos that was all I was doing till I finally understood 🤣. Movie seemed stretched then finally finished and lights came on. Guess who was right in front wearing Red Merry Men Tshirts? You guessed right... AY, Ramsey, Ufuoma, Alex, Uche Ejemba (pardon my spelling) and 1 or 2 persons I can't recal. They "gisted" with us and suggested we take pictures outside as it was dark.
These guys were super nice. They acted really nice to the extent that they individually spoke in my videos like we were friends (don't know how the Ramsey video deleted sha), Ufouma hugged me like she missed me 😮. As for Alex, I guess "Tolex" fans bundled her cos she was there but couldn't sight her. Ramsey even recognised Chiki and they took this amazing picture that I am about to frame 🤣. They were so nice that I had to ask Chiki if it was normal or cos we watched their movie (advert), but she confirmed a couple of them may have their bad days but nice..
That to us was the highlight of our movie before we left and had a few drinks and bites.
Let me use this space to appreciate my girl. The definition of beauty in and out. How you keep it all together and still make out time to slay baffles me. Thanks for always pushing me and giving me the best ideas. Thank you❤.

Day 4 of 7 (The Person of My Dreams - 1)

But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. (1 Samuel 16: 6 - 7 KJV)
Sometimes, even someone who is filled with the Spirit of God concludes Mr/Miss Wrong is the divinely ordained spouse cos of physical circumstance. That will in turn be based on your erroneous idea of what Mr/Miss Right should look or sound like. And that can come from anywhere. Samuel nearly anointed Eliab because Saul, the only other person he knew and anointed as king, was tall and handsome. And he was in the house God specified.
Just like you assume that cos you're in the same church where she sings in the choir and you feel called to ministry, God has spoken. Or he's tall, dark and handsome (like movies say he must be), articulate, rich, gets on with your mum, has 3 degrees and 4 cars, works in your industry, and speaks in tongues = gotta be God's Will, right?
The state of Eliab's heart couldn't be seen from his height. The Will of God VERY RARELY looks like what it is, at first physical sight. This isn't about "marrying potential", but if the content is actually the real as opposed to the container - it's not potential. An apple seed is just a real apple the world hasn't seen yet. Info about husband that will push you to your death or break your head, or wife that will change it for you and land you in psychia isn't written on anybody's face. Not every wo/man can bear with you; it's not by fine face.
Day 4 of 7 (The Person of My Dreams - 2)

Your man is really handsome" even from straight men. So, he's not a mere consolation prize I'm managing cos I've no choice. Dude is fine, just not the 12ft tall or very dark like M&B that I used to read way back, said should be my standard. We're also very attracted to each other, very grateful to God that we're married to each other, and very proud of each other. So ultimately, we both got what we needed. Not what I thought I wanted. God can tweak your desires if you give them to Him, then exceed your expectations.

PS 1: Mention the surnames of your father's and mother's families when praying. If you can speak your dialect and your parents are from the same place, pray in your dialect.
PS 2: If you see your mother's house or more than one person from your mother's family, there's something in your mother's house that is contending with you. Raw fish in the compound - instability. Fish weren't created to live on land. Broken back fence - security breach. Abandoned things, few people in your compound - desolation. Something has happened to give these things guts to happen.
PS 3: If you're seeing more than one person from your father's house in certain situations (especially males cos they perpetuate family names) something from your father's house is causing you problems. One morning the Lord gave me a vision of a large concrete slab that had fallen to the ground. I went and lifted up the heavy object, bringing it back to its’ feet, while tears poured down my face. The concrete slab was fallen leaders. Through their pride, they fell, but through the love of their brothers and sisters in Christ, they will stand again. Our Father loves His children, and even when we fall, He knows how to restore us back to our original place in Him.
In this time, we’re seeing great men and women of God fall down like concrete slabs onto the earth. It’s creating a loud noise and it is shaking the faith of some. But I hear the word of the Lord saying, “Don’t you point your finger. Run to their side and help them stand. Restore them in love because it could be you.” Let your relationship with the Lord become so established and rooted and grounded that no matter what happens with a Christian leader, it won’t shake your faith. Follow Jesus and you will continue to grow and do the works He created you to do. Keep your mind stayed on Him, He will keep you in His perfect peace.
Prayer: Father, I pray for Christian leaders who have fallen. I pray that you will cover them under the precious blood of Jesus. Help them to receive your love and forgiveness. Help them to resist every lie of the enemy and receive the truth of your Word. Remind them of who they are in Christ. And help me, Father, not to judge, condemn, or attack a leader. Help me continue to pray for them from my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

MY BENEFITS
When you wash your clothes, I get them dried max 15 minutes and even add natural starch
When you spill water or mop, I get them dry quickly even when you are too lazy to clean it up.
Those of you who couldn't afford AC units, I acted as a natural coolant and AC in your homes yet I am despised.
I even helped to reduce the intensity of the heat though I come with a lot of dust.
I am prepping most of you who said this year is your year of relocating to Canada very cold country, that me Harmattan will feel good sef.
2020 I will have to think very hard before I come to Lagos most especially.
