Mrs Dee's Corner - Visible Panty Lines Brouhaha

I stumbled on a discussion where the topic of interest was on pant lines that are conspicuous through a lady's outfit and how some men consider it as being indecently dressed and an offence.

I didn't even know pantylines was worth taking note of, talk less of it being termed offensive.

I've always been a team 'granny pants' (yes I'm that old fashioned) and when I tried to spice up my 'pant life' by adding G-strings to the pack, I felt uncomfortable and 'pantless'.

Truth be told, pant lines showing through our outfits are sometimes unavoidable, even those who use G-strings have to make a switch during that time of the month and most times, the undies we think would fit us adequately end up being a tad smaller for us thereby making our pant lines show through our outfits.

I wonder who brought up the notion that it was offensive to see female pantylines? don't we often see men wear tight pants (trousers) and their crotch area are sometimes on full display?

Oh please,excuse me!

I look at pantylines a lot and i like mine to show during summer...LMAO!!!

  1. Since i finished secondary school and started buying undies for myself i have never worn a full pant except i am on my monthly flow. T wear only thongs or G-strings. I never liked my panty lines showing even in my younger days.

I see women who don't wear pants, not to mention tights and you see their buttocks rings bells as they walk on. How comfortable they feel beats my imagination.

Just yesterday I saw a man drop off his wife at work, lo and behold her dress was short(those kind of dress that as you walk along, you have to keep pulling them down). As she made to alight from the car, she parted her legs/laps with no visible underwear. I was embarrassed for her and her husband that let her know her outfit was appropriate for onlookers and the work space.

Let me ask o, growing up, we wore pant and tights before putting on our dress(which I still consider as appropriate today). That way you know that you are fully covered for what the day may bring, whether sitting astride on a bike, bending to pick up something....etc what really happened to us?
BTW, I am 30 and so not so old schooled.

    4. Wearing pants and tights is actually very unhealthy. That are needs to breathe please. No wonder many women stank that year. In a bid to sound or be pious, don’t go and give yourself disease o

    5. Exactly! I only wear thongs or nothing!

    6. Do you know the meaning of nauseating?

    Private wears should be private.

  6. For me I do tight in dresses or skirt. I only wear pant in trouser pants. I dislike pant lines

  7. I try as much as possible to use pants that the lines won't be visible when I'm dressed. I hate G strings so much!

  8. VPL should be an obsolete word by now. God forbid I have a visible panty line in 2020!

  9. Those men should mind their business

  10. Excuse me too, it's very offensive.

Its tacky and makes you look unkempt, like a slob. Don't step out in your grown outfit wearing childish underwear. If you can't do thong then throw on seamless panties and go about your day.

    1. I agree with you on this 💯% @Perxian.
      Thongs, G-strings all the way.
I can't even stand lines of tights showing on the thighs underneath a dress so, I select the right ones.
It's unsightly to see cellulite underneath a dress on the bum or thighs and a wobbly bum.
Women should not let any part of their undies show, not even a bra-strap.

      Delete
  11. Well I don't like it, but some are unavoidable. I still have a jumpsuit I don't wear due to it, since I bought it have only wore it once and that was without a pant.
Even with G strings it must display. And to think I bought it costly eehhhh is very painful.
Please i need a suggestion on what I can wear such with.
I can't even think of wearing it without a pant again cause I have added a little weight, it would be too obvious.

    2. Candix, visit an underwear boutique. You will find tons of seamless undies. From bras, all kinds to panties and even undershorts. You don't have to wear thongs if you don't like them just to avoid a vpl. There are full panties, comfortable ones that won't show through your outerwear. Not a single line in sight even while wearing them.

    3. Buy seamless pant or ask those sellers u wnt condom pant

    2. Offcourse so many full panties with seamless lines, even some boy shorts type. Plenty at M&S.
I switch btw G-strings and full panties depending on what im wearing.
Don't feel its right to wear G-string under a very short flimsy dress except you wear shorts underneath.

  13. I'm in the office now, in tights and trainers. I'm wearing nicker inside (ie little black short tights that cover my bum) and the line is showing. I'm waiting for my line manager to come and send me home, so I can smile home with 5 million pounds lawsuit.

Insensitive people don't know that some ladies have really heavy flows and use big pads which warrants big pants. Besides that, what the fuck is your business with someone else's pants?

    1. Is she *me* not *I*?

Use *I* when you are the subject of the sentence and *me* when you are the object of the sentence.

E.g. She was talking to you and *me*. (not you and *I*)

Another important point, please, the pronoun *I* must always be in capital letter regardless of where it comes up in a sentence.

  17. I hate panty lines with passion,I only wear full pant when on red label duty, aside that it's G-string all d way

    ReplyDelete
  18. But it's easy nowadays for those who still want to wear their full panties. There are seamless full pants everywhere now, so it's a win win situation.
I wear both seamless pants and thongs and I'm fine so long as I don't see pantylines.
I personally don't like the separation of buttocks that happens with those panty lines.

  21. Abeg y’all should mind your effing business!
I totally get it could be an eyesore but Sometimes it’s unavoidable! I don’t like wearing thongs, my gynecologist told me they could cause yeast infections besides they are uncomfortable AF and if you think about it, kind of unsanitary. And God forbid I would wear panties with those repulsive things called tights, I won’t choke my privates in such a cruel manner. Na so people toto dey begin to smell like ogiri.
Seamless pants and boy shorts work but y’all should leave women alone and stop poking your eyes into every crevice of their bodies. Ogini di?? At least it’s better for panty lines to be showing than to see the irritating and reckless bouncing of some women’s buttocks who go pantless or wear barely there underwear (G-strings) all in the name of “pant lines must not show” Kmt.

Some wear full panties and their bums still bounce. But why is that even a big deal?

      Delete
    3. Snarker how could tights make your private area smell like ogiri? That would be for someone with poor hygiene or infection. Besides, do you wear tights all day? Nothing stops you from taking it off half way through the day.

I'm not crazy about tights but I wear them when necessary.

  22. Do ladies wear waist slips these days?
That is what is supposed to hide the panties lines.
panties are on display on every backside these days
even the ones that have not been washed in weeks.

  23. Now everyone hates their pant line showing so who are those people that now wear them.

Me I wear whatever I feel comfortable in. As far as I'm not naked, if u like vomit and throw all you've eaten out because my pant line is showing, u are on ur own

No one asked u to stare long enough that it started to nauseate u. I'm sure a quick mistaken glance would never have that effect on anyone

  24. I don't really believe that wearing pants and tights will give you infections, except of course are not cotton. For those of you that use gstring to hold Yr pad, I pity you the day that pad will fall out. For those that don't wear pant at all, how do you cope with vaginal discharge that drops on your clothes. Every vagina has a discharge, even a healthy vagina has a discharge, so how do you cope with pant?

    1. Anon, the day I said it here that my friend came visiting for 4 days and saw me wear pant liner before leaving for work and questioned why, I told her it's for discharge and she said something is wrong with me if I discharge everyday, bvs, also said it's not healthy to discharge everyday. Hmmmm

  25. I wear thongs and G-strings even when I'm on my period (guess using tampons make it easier). I have just four full panties and I only wear them when I wear free dresses or caftans. Las las, wear what you're comfortable on ladies!
