  1. Isn't it the disobedience to Jesus' simple command that causes all these?

Matthew 23:9 And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.

When almost every Christian in Nigeria chants "Daddy G.O", why hasn't a disclaimer been issued on that one?
Okwa sincere ajuju be that o 😮😮😮

  2. It's high time people start using their common sense instead of emotions. How can a 75 year old be a spiritual father to a 77 year old? And vice versa. This is what happens when we put men where they are not meant to be in our lives. Do not call anyone that is not old enough to be your father-daddy, model etc. It is wrong on every level. Your pastor is your pastor, not your spiritual father. They always spell it out when it concerns them directly. Be wise

    1. You did not use ur own common sense here, age is not used to determine who is ones spiritual father,a twenty years old spirit filled person can be a spiritual father to a ninety yr old man

    2. lol sadly na you no get common sense here. a spiritual father has nothing to do with age. it is just a person who has guided another on their spiritual journey. i.e if i lead you to Christ and i help mentor you on your christian walk - pray with you, counsel you etc you can call me your spiritual father or mother.

    3. yes your pastor can be your spiritual father but not all church members can call him that. a spiritual father is just a spiritual mentor. they should however not take the place of the Holy spirit

    4. 14.11 and 14.42, I would have loved to respond to you same way but I chose to be wise. Keep looking for your lost spiritual fathers up and down and not settle down with your heavenly Father. Baba mo iye omo tobi. Pastor Adeboye and other Pastors KNOW their children. Stop UNNECESSARY ATTACHMENT.HEBREWS 12 VERSE 2
