Pastor Oyedepo Blows Hot Over Millions Of Naira Allegedly Stolen By His Church Officials

Millions of naira allegedly stolen by some highly placed officials of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, a.k.a. Winners Chapel, drew the presiding Bishop of the church, Dr. David Oyedepo, into a rage at the empowerment summit organised for ordained workers of the church on Saturday January 4,2020.

The annual event, which is usually attended by pastors, zonal ministers and their assistants, deacons, ushers and other ordained workers of the church, where they are acquainted with the church’s programme for the year, was presided over by Oyedepo, while his deputy, Bishop David Abioye, was also in attendance. Both men ministered powerfully.

Oyedepo ministered on service, while Abioye spoke on consistency in service.
Towards the end of the programme, however, Oyedepo took some time to talk about the goings on in the church. He revealed how some very high up officials, mainly accountants, had looted the church’s treasury.

The Bishop could not hide his disappointment that professionals trusted by the church to prevent fraud turned themselves into a network of fraudsters.

Expressing his disappointment in the errant church officials, who have since been relieved of their positions in the church, he said: “Can you imagine accountants perpetrating fraud in the house of God?

“We had no choice but to dismiss them. You can imagine top church officials engaging in doubling figures and other dubious practices.
“Even after we dismissed them, we discovered more fraud.
Those who should discover the fraud were the ones involved in it. One of them refused to confess until the last minute.”

He admonished the church members against employing the dismissed officials. He said he had to tell everyone present because he knew the dismissed officials “will come to you for employment.”

“Don’t employ them and don’t sympathise with them. Whoever sympathises with the wicked is wicked himself.”

Dead silence fell on the gathering as the Bishop reiterated: “Don’t sympathise with any perpetrator of fraud, otherwise you are a partaker of the evil act.”

    What will Jesus do?
    Sdk's ajuju n'ese okwu 😊😊😊

    1. If you thibk Oyedepo is fake then you have no spiritual discernment. If your child stole from you, wont you punish him? So why won't a pastor sact stealing officials abi are you supporting theft.

    2. No anony, I am in no way supporting their actions, but, the pastor is as fake as they come.

Some of us knows something about all these pastors but, we chose to zip our mouths.

P.S my spiritual discernment is on a high level.

    3. If your discernment is in place you will know who Oyedepo is both physically and spiritually. The Bible says that there is a curse upon the house of a thief, does he in any way look like a cursed man, unlike your wretched thieving politicians. Learn not to generalize, calling someone who is dear to God a thief can make you receive the back hand slap of God especially when you have no evidence. Learn to be cautious with your tongue when it comes to men like Oyedepo

    4. Ms. A said and I quote "Some of us knows something about pasALL these pastors but, we chose to zip our mouth"

Pray to God to impact one percent of those people whose lives have been immensely touched by Bishop Oyedepo . Take it or leave it, he is a blessed man and extremely loved by God.

WOW, people are equating Jesus chasing away people like Oyedepo from the temple to this?

Mr. Oyedepo, if you want to know what God would do to people who steal, take a cue from Jesus on the cross. Heck they were crucifying Him and He still forgave them.

    1. Very stupid comment. Some of you curse your existence by accusing men who have poured out themselves for this generation because of money, that they didn't even steal. Jesus went to the cross for salvation of man. Oyedepo is not Jesus so he can't die for the sin of any man. Very useless and senseless comparison. Tueh I shudder at you guys ignorance. Church is full on Sunday yet you guys don't know Jack about the scripture, quoting scripture in isolation to support your foolishness.

  14. I once worked with three members of the church; two out of the three were in the choir they had a sonorous voices. The company was into cathering. They delivered food and drinks. The two guys stole drinks in crates and sold it out after loading it in their warehouse. They were both relieved of their duties. One of them got a job which paid better than the previous company. He stole again, they sent him to the main office he stole and they sacked him. The third person was a lady, a leader in church. She victimized all the New staffs that were employed by bullying and hitting them.I am also a victim. I couldn't bear it and had to leave after a year. It disturbed me immensely for a long time. I cried and is still weeping because of the violence. I understand what the Pastor is experiencing. He has to purge out the bad eggs from the system.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Last last na the poor they collected from other people dem dey enjoy. The accountants know that God doesn't need money. They must have seen the cash flow and expenditures---how Oyedepo and his family are living large at the expense of gullible masses, and decided to join the party. That's all. There is no honour among thieves.

  26. I wonder if it is because we are so forgiving or so stupid that we allow pastors, criminals, kidnappers and politicians who steal from us and do us harm to ride over us time and time again... So we aid and abate them to continue the injustice. God is merciful but He is also a God of justice who renders to each man according to what they do.
I have noted that people who still in Church do so because they have lost respect for God and such needs to be taught wisdom by being handed over to civil authority to deal with. Such people cannot be reformed by forgiveness...
