UK Is Exiting The European Union January 31st

The UK will no longer be a member of the European Union (EU) after 23:00 GMT on 31 January 2020.




Brexit is an abbreviation for "British exit," referring to the U.K.'s decision in a June 23, 2016 referendum to leave the European Union (EU).

      They have not any problem... The British passport is still on the top 20 on the chart.

      They can still travel and do business anywhere except there come up new rules.

      As for EU citizens residing in the UK, they can apply for residential permits for a continuous stay in the UK. They have until 2021 to do that.

      They are still under the European continent.

      They can now control their economy and trades themselves without the EU interference.

      They no longer abide by the EU rules. They will now set their own rules... There will still be some form of open border within the UK and the EU in terms of business (the Dublin regulations stays, so I read)

      Mind you, new rules will be emerging soon, especially from the UK side.

      As for granting visas to Nigerians, I believe the rules still remains. But, I read that they are hunting for new talents.
      So, if you're in the medical field, making medical research and all that, they can grant you visa as fast as possible.

      Now, their currency which is the almighty pounds πŸ’· still remains the highest denominator in the world and even Brexit have not affected it and I don't believe it will be affecting it anytime soon.

      The United Kingdom is ready to be sovereign again just like it was some six decades ago.

      A lot of differences @anonymous! West African countries or African nations does not use a single denominator.... Their open border trade is not well defined.

      There's no regulations or whatsoever and there's no "Dublin regulations"

      So, it is not the same process.

      You see the way Nigeria just closed her border without first presenting it at the AU or ECOWAS, things are not done like that in European Union system.

      Please, I'm tired of giving examples, there are numerous examples that doesn't make it the same.

      Instead of asking me for the difference, why not say "thank you" for enlightening you about the things you were ignorant about.

    @Anony 18:24, UK will still be in the Western European continent but they will no longer a be part of the European Union which is an entity made up of 27 European countries. I am happy Brexit happened...
