US Reportedly Denies Bishop Oyedepo Visa

The United States Embassy in Lagos has denied renowned preacher, Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners’ Chapel International visa in what appears to be an escalation of President Trump’s anti-immigrant stance.

THEWILL also authoritatively reports that Nigerians with valid United States visas have been receiving emails from the embassy notifying them that their visas have been revoked without any explanations. Two senior bank executives affected confirmed the development to THEWILL.

It was however unclear why Oyedepo’s visa application was denied but the embassy usually does not reveal such information to a third party.

The newspaper said its source did not give any other reason except the standard default explanation that the Bishop did not qualify for visa renewal in its assessment and urged him to try again.

  3. Wasn't Nigerian passport holders just recently added to the United States of America visa banned lists!

Why go apply for a visa renewal now..

I feel for all those at the receiving end, especially those usually didn't have any problems renewing their visas every now and then.

  13. This people are not joking at all, my friend in the US told me yesterday that they are even denying Nigerian passport holders greencard and gave them 30days to leave the country or get deported, they don’t want us in their country anymore, our government should stop them from collecting the application fee or make it 50/50, once you are denied they return 50% of your application fee.

  18. Christianity is under attack, these men of God prayed for a good Nigeria, he is always speaking against evil in the land yet we rejoice cos he was denied visa? Is denying him visa denying him heaven?

We are happy whenever bad things happens to men of God and we quickly judge them, we question the God they serve.

Most of us call ourselves the prophets and pastors over our lives yet we expect sympathy and prayers whenever we go through stuffs. LIFE IS A SEED be careful

    2. My dear @Hurpe you're right. Christianity is indeed under attack. A lot of Christians rejoice when bad things happen to our men of God. Most of them claim woke, they don't go to church anymore, they don't pray anymore but they're still Christians. I'm not surprise at all. We're indeed in end time. May God put all the enemies of the church to shame.
