    1. You sound so silly. White people? Social Media?

      1. Nigerians are not immune to mental health disorders that are often linked suicide attempts.
      2. There's evidence that Nigerians have committed suicide, which is why many traditions have rules about the burial/funeral rites allowed for those who commit suicide. Would a tradition exist for something that doesn't happen?
      3. Suicide has been documented in African literature - remember Okonkwo committed suicide in Things Fall Apart, what about Wole Soyinka's play that was based on real life, Death of a King's horseman?

    2. Friend, thank you. Some comments just make you rethink the idea of paying primary and secondary school teachers. I mean, it is obvious many who passed through school were not taught.

  3. Years ago, the only thing I wanted to do is to end it, but the only thing that kept me was my unborn baby, and now that she's here, the thought of leaving her for another to take Care is keeping me, I know God have a purpose for me, all I need is the tracking number , so I will know the exact location the purpose is, cos the heart is weary

    1. Better find happiness within you. You don't even know where you're going to if you end it.
Suckde has ever solve any problem but transfers it to love ones.

    2. Don,you really do not need to repely wvery comment on a post, your comment is extremely insensitive. Do you think this lady is enjoying the feelings if depression she is struggling with? This is the worst thing you can say to someone suffering a mental health condition...you are asking her to snap out of it...if she could, she would...this comment can worsen her plight...if you have nothing to say,pls say nothing at all!

  5. This no format na wa. Why ruin other people? The other driver is still in custody foe stopping for the boy that jumped. Can guys should just have a small bucket in their car and refuse to stop for any passenger unless the passenger adds the stop to the Uber app and if the driver feels the location is one kind, Uber should encourage them not to stop until they cross the bridge.

  8. It's not yet his time... Sometimes I want to ask what's with the incessant rate of suicide these days? But then I remember that the country is not favouring to some people. May God heal their heart. Suicide shouldn't be an option.

Mental awareness should be taken seriously in Nigeria. We just have the mentality that we are black men so we can handle anything till it hits close to home.

  9. A girl trying to live27 February 2020 at 18:58

I have had times were I feel there is nothing to live for but honestly the thought of killing myself and literary dying is scary... I can't do it mbok. I don't judge people that try to commit suicide but doing it is just too far one can go. It is normal to be depressed but taking your own life is heartless.
