Sunday In House Gists - When Parents Turn The Other Cheek For The Good Life...

Can we talk about how some parents know their daughters are into runs, but keep mute because the girls are like the breadwinners?

They pretend like they dont know and enjoy the proceeds of these runs...

Some men are into ritual for money things and/or also yahoo yahoo but their parents don't confront them because these sons have provided them with the good life

This is becoming very rampant by the day!

Are you one of such daughters into runs?Do your parents give advice or totally ignore what you do but living the good life with the proceeds of your runs?

Are you one of the sons who have provided the good life for your family with 'dirty' money and ritual things? Are the parents worried or blind to the implications of your actions because the enjoyment you have provided for them is top class?

Are you one the parents who turn the other cheek to what your child does to provide you with all the good things in life?Do you have sleepless night?

Let us gist abeg!!

  3. Mmmmhhh, It depends on the definition of runs here...
If a girl has more than one man that gives her money for sex. He has never gone to see her dad to pay bride price, that one is runs o 😮
If there is just one man that gives her money and she supplies sex, it is run. 😊
The girl will drive a brand new SUV home and the mama will begin to praise and thank god, which god?
Sisi has never gone home to tell mama say she don get job -aka oru, i.e. work that pays salary o, has she?
    Okwa ajuju ooo
Okay, she starts digging foundations, erecting structures whereas some erect things are digging her day, night, single erect, double erect ...even group erect and the Naija mama dey jolly eh: Isn't that a pimp mama right there? 😏😏
    Okwa second ajuju o
For Christmas, they will crown sisi "Ada ora 1" -daughter of all 1 -e go be daughter of one before? No be all man chops be that one?
My ajuju n'ese okwu is this; when will you Naija (pimp) mama tell your daughter the truth and reject those (pimped) monies, houses and cars?
Ndi uta, I never finish my yarns o. I get tori next 😊😊😊

  6. Before I got married, if i go out and come back with a takeaway food, my mum will never eat it. She always assume a man took me out and bought those things for me. As little as meat pie ooo. She will not eat. The first time I gave my mum money from my first salary, she demanded to know how much was my salary, minus transport, feeding, everyday for one month. After the calculation she saw I had extra. That's when she accepted the money from me. Deaconess Mercy i love you so much.

    6. My mom is like this ,
I always had to explain my monies to her and she would always remind me that I'm given everything I want so therefore I dare not look outside,
Someone bought me a Prada perfume and I told her ,
She told me I shouldn't be taking presents from a man that hasnt paid my bride price lol,
Well thankfully all the good virtues they instilled in me has helped in my life's journey.

I used to think my mom was overly strict but now I'm grateful for her firmness.

    2. So
There was this lady she had so many girls and just a son ,
She owned a beer parlor , in the mornings you'd see her daughter handing money over to her and we always wondered why a mother would condone such from her daughters ,
Even the younger one that we thought would grow differently ended up marry a man who chased his wife out to marry her ,
The woman is so money conscious nothing else matters to her .

  8. There was a time when if you brought home something (cars, phone..in my case, electronics), far beyond your pay grade/what you were deemed capable of, questions will be asked on how that wealth was gotten. Alas, it is not so anymore. Story story... Got to know a girl once, a friend of a friend. Tall, dark, pretty and a shape like Amber Rose. Dating a politician, who was giving her the world. Special soaps and creams in her room, supplied and aided completely by her mum. Her companion even on her visits to her 'powerbroker'.
I know a girl, pretty, young. Early twenties and a breadwinner in her home. Pushed by her mum to always bring this and that. How? A girl that young. Tried to ensure she didn't stray too far from the path, I think she did occasionally tho. The mum is late now (her soul RIP). The burden has lessened and she's on her way to living her life.
A guy I don't really know, a relative of a friend, young but with houses and cars...yahoo yahoo. Does the dad know, yes. He doesn't care, rather keeps praying 'blessings and open doors' upon his son.
The stories are many, look on this blog, this devilish culture of permissiveness that has corrupted the family unit. Feeding on greed.
    I pray God helps us

    2. The explanation is simple, really. Even those who claim to worship God are firmly Mammon worshippers now. That’s why we are so religious but not spiritual.

The love of money is the root of all evil. That’s why people that go to church are killing other humans to turn them into money vomiting machines

  11. Honestly I've been thinking about this. My brother is into Yahoo. He has been making little money sha hoping to blow in the future and he keeps talking about how he will buy expensive cars for us his siblings when he blows. But my conscience keeps pricking me when he says that. I keep asking myself if I should collect such a gift if eventually he blows knowing it's a proceed of dishonesty and crime. I don't know honestly. I've been advising him to leave Yahoo but he doesn't listen. I'm a born again Christian and wouldn't want anything that would affect my fellowship with God. My mother used to collect gifts from my sister's boyfriend and I used to condemn it. I feel like collecting anything from my brother is a sin and towing the same path like my mother.

    2. Start praying for your brother to change ooo. He is too convinced about yahoo. Let him not join yahoo+ and sacrifice you people and himself join.

    3. Back in 2011, there was a yahoo guy in my area whose brother became a vegetable because the yahoo guy’s jazz backfired on him. This one was an open secret back then, everybody in the neighborhood knew what was going on. Women were constantly insulting their mom till they moved out. I wonder how the guy is doing now or even if he’s still alive sef.

You never can tell what your own brother has dipped his hands into. Make one or all of una no go pay for market wey na anode person prize am o

  12. The truth is those kind of parents are filled with greed... they're never satisfied... I've experienced a situation where a parent keeps telling her daughter that at her age she's supposed to be providing all her needs that she's not supposed to come ask her for money kuz the daughter is supposed to know what to do...And this girl is someone who is still struggling to make ends meet kuz things are really not good for now...so the little she makes, she makes sure she gives her a part of it... and before you know it her mother comes in picture again jus to ask for more money without having a care in the world if the daughter has needs or not...with this kinda mentality I think if this girl happens to go into runs she wouldn't care the source of the money so long as all her needs(the mother)her met...#when it comes to material gains some parents don't mind so long as the children involved in such get to satisfy their greed as they care bout no one buh themselves alone...#BaeisBeulah
