  1. A beautiful Sunday morning to you all beautiful people of SDK blog

The European Union is planning on imposing visa restrictions on Nigerians.. They claimed that many Nigerians default in keeping their side of the deal and also that the Nigerian government is not joining hands with the EU on how to repatriates defaulters (people who overstayed their visa)

I hope Nigerian government will work things out with the EU,. It is not a good thing for Nigerians and Nigeria to be blacklisted.

    Stand Up And Stand Strong!!
    Ezekiel 37:3.

    Excerpts!!

In your journey of faith, there could be times of difficulties, when you face serious challenges. But at such times, don't loathe yourself or gripe that you're going through such tough times; refuse to be discouraged"

"If you've found yourself in a situation where everything around you seems dry, there can be a change; and you're the one to effect that change with your words"

"Remember, words are things, they have energy and spiritual tangibility. What you say, becomes"

"Therfore, the challenges you face are your opportunities to demonstrate your faith in the Lord, and prove his Word"

    Today's Confession!!

I flourish Like the Palm tree; I'm fruitful and productive. I grow like a cedar in Lebanon; majestic, stable, durable and incorruptible. I'm bearing fruits unto righteousness, established on the path of success and glory forevermore, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

I just noticed the heat is coming back with full force this is my first time of experiencing heat in gwagwalada because I move in late last year due to a new job I got, I am thinking if I should use the money I want to use to buy phone to add up a little and buy an air conditioner instead of phone. Mind you all my neighbours don't have air conditioner, we are four in the compound I mean four flats in my compound. I also have a generator that can carry 1.5 air conditioner, we all use prepaid meter in the house. Will I be able to cope with paying extra fee of the air conditioner, extral light bill and fuel consumption.

  8. Good morning guys. Saw the divorce post late and I think the reason why most marriages don't last is because most men do not see it as team work. They have this belief that they are the prize and the woman is coming into their lives to worship them. I think most men aren't making the marriage institution easy and women nowadays are so liberated to take rubbish anymore.

I used to wonder why I wasn't dating anyone but my friends weree dating a lot till they all came to me and opened up about what their eyes were seeing. I don't take nonsense because I have this belief that when God created me he didn't tie so and so to my apron string. We didn't come to this world together and on judgment day God won't Judge a single and a married person differently. Or say because you weren't married I will deal with you. My aunt husband would used to beat her even in pregnancy, cheat on her with various women and guess who was the breadwinner of the family.. MY AUNTY. she bought her husband his car and she was the one clothing and paying the children's school fees. But what she suffered all in the name of bearing Mrs was sickening. Call me a feminist but what I know is before that I am my own woman.

More divorce cases would still pile up if men refuse to have respect. The man who would be rude to me hasn't been born. I promise I will be Good but I will never take disrespect of any kind from a mere mortal. My mum suffered emotional, physical, mental, etc abuse from our dad for 20 years and she left when we grew up so before tou come and say an Your type dey suffer pass, kindly connect your tongue to your brain. I won't suffer nor tolerate rubbish if i decide to get married today. They didn't tie my umbilical cords together with that of any man. Most men are very disrespectful and mannerless. Thank God women are becoming wiser.

    2. Madam, there's no need to apportion blames here!! A failed marriage had contribution from both spouses!!

What type of Men do you and your friends know though??

The problem is Men are more intentional about marriage than women.... We women marry who's ready due to pressure!!

A Man can marry a woman simply because she's a pharmacist..... If women can be more intentional about their lives BEFORE marriage, trust me, divorce rate will reduce......

      Delete
    3. @ if you agree to be the man the axe would e used on then your suggestion would come in handy. MMtsheww
If my man is peaceful and loving we would have a happy marriage but i won't stay with a man who lacks good upbringing let alone marry him and that is what I was trying to say. So keep your machete for your future spouse.

Cookie not apportioning blame just wrote that based on what i noticed my mum and aunt suffered in marriage. Even my cousin who recently married just confessed that 2 days to her church wedding she went to her fiance now then husband's house and caught him sleeping with the neighbour. I told her on the spot she should have cancelled even if the preparation was far gone. Now this same man after marriage brought prostitutes home when she was at the hospital for delivery. He comes home 2 in the morning and woke her up to prepare his food that the one she kept for him was already cold and this was someone nursing a baby .Now after one child they are going to court to divorce.

    4. You made a great point but do not give up on good men, have an open mind towards meeting a good man. There are good, loving, caring and respectful men around. I know the someday we lol will meet the most important men in our life.

      Delete
    5. Thank God women are becoming wiser and more also more angrier... I finished the sentence for you.

It takes two to tango... A failed marriage is due to the failure of both people that were in it.

      Stop apportioning blames.
With this mindset of yours, even the "bestest" of men if married to you, will fail.

      Delete
    6. Ms.A you don't know me and from whose experience i speak from so please watch what you type.

With this mindset of yours, even the "bestest" of men if married to you, will fail. Ms. A if you marry the bestest" of men with this your running mouth it is your own marriage that will fail if it is a curse. Mtsheww

What i wrote was based on people's experience not from my own mentality. Did you see where i wrote i would treat my man well if he gives me peace? But if he does otherwise even marry him to begin with? Think before you type next time please. So simply because i said i won't tolerate abuse of any kind means i have a bad mentality. Isn't that what we advise women about all the time not to stay tolerating abuses all in the name of being married. I can see comprehension is your problem so kindly move aside. You ignored all I said my mom went through and type nonsense for yourself not me.

Thanks excited courtesy you just proved that age is not maturity and intelligence has nothing to do with being abroad. Amen to your prayers and when we meet these good men, may we also be the best women to them πŸ™

    7. Takes two to tango! Keep telling your husband or wife "are u ok, are u crazy, u are stupid", one day, he or she will snap.

      Delete
    8. Why is everyone twisting what the lady is saying?
She said she won't stay in an abusive or bad relationship if I am right. So what's wrong with such a statement. Even I won't date anyone who acts like he is God's gift to humanity.

Poster I think I get where you are coming from. There are good men who were brought up well out there believe me. My husband is one of them...so you will find yours as long as you aren't desperate and have patient. Learn from your friends' relationships and what you noticed from your mother's own and try to make a careful decision when it comes to the kind of spouse you want for yourself.

Most especially, take it to God in prayer. Yea it is easy to develop anxiety after having experienced so much while growing up that you start to think most men are bad. There are good ones too and you will find your own.. Do not worry.

      Delete
    9. Blackberry yes you are right, it takes two to tango but most times it just takes one person to pull it down.

My dad would tell my mum " your corpse and your carcass belongs to me, if i kill you today nobody would come forth to claim you". Yes she ran to families but they would always tell her to go back that even them their own husbands beats them and they use make up to cover it up and when that get outside nobody would suspect. When she makes her hair, he would tell her she is too beautiful and cut everything off with a blade. See i am tired of typing I just thank God i witnessed and saw everything because it made me realise what to take and what not to tolerate from a man all in the name of marriage.

      Have a nice day guys.

    10. Anon 9:39. You don't have to write too much. I understand Your marriage will be different from your mom's own and from other women's won who went through hell in their marriages. Marriage will be a testimony of God's love for you and he will give you the best husband ever. Come hereπŸ€—.

      Delete
    11. See ehh, marriage is not by force really. Married women who think they have achieved something big and therefore think they are better than single women are really narrow-minded. Why won't men treat ladies like trash, cos they think they are doing them a favour by marrying them? Women please have some self-esteem and respect yourself and stop falling over men, who do not regard or respect you. I think that was what Anon up there is trying to say. There are still some well brought up men out there, just don't settle for less. Being single is not a curse well maybe in Nigeria it is!

      Delete
    12. Annon, I totally understand what you are saying. It is both ways though. Some men marry bad wives whilst some women marry wrong husbands. But the truth is women are more victims.

Our Nigerian men need to do better and respect their wives as well, treat them like human beings, not properties.

I know 2 men who are in their second marriages but they are now taking all the rubbish they couldn't take from their first wives. One of them frustrated his first wife till she left. Good news is they are in their second marriages but they now realize that every human has flaws. The grass is not always greener.

So annon, God will give you what you desire, just pray about it, have an open mind, work on your flaws if you know them. Your marriage will be one of the good ones by God's grace, amen.

  12. In 1979 Anita Baker was dropped because the recording company managing the group she belonged to thought she didn't have star potential.

    She believed it.

She went back to Detroit to serving tables as a waiter and working as a receptionist.

She did this for 3 years!

    80
    81
    82

....before she was encouraged to comeback by somebody who saw something else.

    She went on to win:
    8 Grammy Awards!
    Nominated 10 times!
    4 American music Awards!
    Nominated 5 times!
    7 soul Train Awards
    Nominated 5 times!

Even the BET Awards that was established in 2001 to celebrate African Americans gave her an award.

At a point her album sales was over 8million copies worldwide.

...but for three years she served tables and worked as a receptionist because somebody told her she didn't have potentials.

Be careful who you listen to.

    You will succeed.Happy Sunday ✌✌

Those 3 yrs was her hibernating yrs to prep her for all those awards.
There were artist whom, were chosen over her, some of those pple didn't even smell a normination .
She was found unfit, booted out came back fully ready and delivered.
Life is a lesson, that person that insulted u so much, that made u determined to change and prove to him/her u r better, was placed there by God! Dont b deceived, things dont just happen.

Cos I have a guy that I block but each time I block him he will be calling front and back, I will be seeing text from him, calls from network that this person has called. That message from network is not allowing me to forget this person, since he knows that network is also sending me messages he will constantly be calling, some times I will have sleepless nights with that because if the constant disturbance I have no option than to unblock him. Please I really need to move forward,no have succeeded in blocking him from Facebook, IG and Twitter but calls is my major challenge, help a sister to get back her brain from a man who does not value a woman.

  16. So depressed this morning and feel like not going to church, its been 4years of marriage without a child, the doctor said its hormonal imbalance,I have been on drugs for a long while yet I can't get pregnant,I have prayed out my life, sowed seeds, drank everything possible, yet no way,IUI and IVF are so expensive, we can't afford it for now.never done an abortion before,I kept myself till marriage only to have infertility issues. life is so unfair..

    1. what makes you think its your fault that you are not pregnant?has your hubbys sperm been checked for 100 percent mobility?sometimes you all go thru the process blaming yourselves and damaging your womb when your hubby is the one who cant make babies.....if you have not had him checked please trick him to a hospital where the test can be done...better to be divorced than to stay married to a man who refuses to go get help......

please dont be depressed ok?remember that your prayer might not be cured by praying oh....God cannot make you pregnant when your hubby is walking around with dead sperm

    2. Don't stress yourself,God will do it if at the appointment time.

    3. Why are you blaming yourself? Keep a positive mindset and have faith in God and continue to do what your doctor says you should do.
I hope your husband is also fully involved?

Men takes all the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, eat anything eatable and some of those things can damage their spermatozoa.

I remember my dad warning my brothers to stay off anything soda and alcoholic drinks.

I see lots of Nigerian young men enjoy drinking Coca-Cola and all other jedi jedi drinks. It always hurts them in the future.

    4. Stop all these treatments and relax your mind. Like Stella said, let your husband go for tests to check his fertility as well. You may not have any problems.

    5. SDK typed what I wanted to type. If your husband refuses to for test, its a big issue. Some men are so proud. They will tell you how they impregnated five girls in the past, they will refuse to go for test forgetting that anything can happen to the sperm cells within months.

    6. Are you the only one who has been going for the test. If yes? Let your husband go too. Men shouldn't be exempted.

    7. Stella has said it all, do as she said and with prayers everything will be ok.

    8. My dear, please don’t give up because God never fails. If it’s truly hormonal imbalance like you stated, make ewedu soup your friend. It’s very effective for hormonal imbalance. I’m talking from experience. God bless your womb with babies in Jesus’ name.
