Former Actress Victoria Inyama Calls Out Former Beauty Queen Omowunmi Akinnifesi For Exaggerating Her Accomplishments

Former actress and mental health expert Victoria Inyama called out ex beauty queen, Omowunmi Akinnifesi for saying she studied a non-existent course in Kings College, London.

  1. Victoria, even in Nigeria, universities change their courses. Omowunmi is not your typical Nigerian celebrity, she has class, so please pick your battles, go pick on your type OK?

Old mama youngi, Internet Bully, Hater of the young ... PS, i am not Omowunmi, just a fan that appreciates accomplished women.

    1. Madam Victoria should hype herself if so wish. A bí èwo ni ti òwú gbígbóná lai ṣe ìwádìí tó pé ye.

    2. Who the hell made her a mental health “expert” she too should provide proof that she is a mental health “expert“

    3. I knew they will come for her. Lol

    4. Victoria Iyama, PLEASE, say no more AND JUST offer a STRAIGHT apology. You were totally wrong and ignorant to insist Kings College is only for Medicine. Yes, Omawumi IS RIGHT: courses change ever so often in the UK, based on what the student market desires. These desires are extracted from NSS and MUSE results. No, nauuuu; even if she was lying you needn't call her out on social media. That shows an inferiority complex, furthrr complicated by a state of self-disappointment. Rein in it, woman. Pull up or shut up - simple.
Omawumi, there you have it: Do not privilege her with another response.
      All the best.

    1. Right perxie…. seems like all she has going on for her is arguing on social media

    2. Yup. Done. Even this yeye Naija education system has split mass communication into about seven different degrees so what is there in repackaging a master's degree that is meant to help students be better employable? In her mind, not knowing king's college offers more then 1 course is a small mistake. God heal our our Victoria. She needs some sweetness. Any moving tree is a target.

    3. @perxian Truly Victoria is becoming somewhat a nuisance in the SM space ...for you to read a post and begin to research the uni ....Im so baffled . do you and omowumi share a husband ??.A woman of almost 50 who says she is a psychologist??..there is something wrong somewhere ..do you see how small etinosa insult her ? ..she should look at her ex colleagues ...like Genny and Rita you can never catch them in this kind of situation ..every instablog and comedian post she is there

  3. Hehehe.

What do people gain in lying???

I ask again, what's the gain?

You just make yourself look stupid after you've been caught in ur lies.

    2. Ive known omowunmi from her days in Geography Unilag. Forget talk, she has always liked book.
Thosed courses she did masters in stem from (GIS) Geography

      Delete
    3. She wasn't caught in any lies. Schools change their courses and modules routinely especially actual universities unlike the glorified grammar schools people are sentenced to in Nigeria because they can't afford to go elsewhere.

Victoria that doesn't know a whole King's college London offers more than medicine, is she the one who would know that they have a competitive array of master's degrees on offer? Did you Google the course or contact the school to find out further?

At a particular echelon, even your social media handles are part of your application for a job and brand- it's not just about whether you insult people or not. No one with this much exposure and pedigree would put such on her social media when it's a lie. Who would she be lying to? Her siblings and cousins who also attended prestigious schools or top brands she hopes to partner with as donors or investors? Not everyone on social media is selling sliming tea.

    4. Thank you oh anon 17:07. People that have no clue whatsoever coupled with low self esteem are the ones that exhibit this behaviour. Then you have the crabs and sheep that just follow blindly because they don’t have a mind of their own. Thank you for schooling them again because most of them actually get their education and know how from comments on blogs.

    5. I studied in Kings College London in 2003. They do other courses besides Medicine. I did not study medicine and neither did a number of people I know who attended the same university as well. Victoria is a bitter and hateful woman just like Eka.

    6. Is that not how she charged at me that year because I mentioned that my dad lost millions in the MMM saga? She kept shouting that I was lying, because she had never seen that kind of money before. (No shading, it was pretty obvious from all her comments)

Okay. When she now met abroad boy and understood that such monies do exist in peoples accounts, she was now extending a branch of dead olives so that BVs will now cajole me into accepting. I kuku know say eye don clear her finally say people dey so no need.

She and Victoria are in the same WhatsApp group. Rather than do proper research, they brand people liars for knowing what they dont know and dont want to know.

  4. Omowonmi might be exaggerating too. she must be a good sales person and cautious of her online brand.
I see her as someone who constantly blows her trumpet...You are doing well ma, allow your successes speak for you....it hav do!
Victoria why must it be you to call her out tho?
All na packaging... she might be trying to attract the right spec of husbands too LoL

  9. What exactly is Victoria Iyama's problem, she acts like a frustrated human-being, always having exchanges with people young enuf to be her kids(not Omowunmi) on instagram. Respect your age and all you have achieved in Nigerian movie industry, you are one of the pioneers of Nollywood; act like it.
She shld be the last counseling anyone on mental health. i bet she argues with her patients even. Leave Omowunmi with her achievement, audio or not. You aren't a moral police on instagram.

And you this yamayama woman that had no degree at omowunmis age is still trying to embarrass her

  17. I looked up that course on the King’s College website. It is offered and is part of the Geography Department. Victoria is wrong on all levels because she says there is not even a Geography Department. There is. Mehn, she must be really pained about something to lash out like this without even doing a simple google search.

  19. It would have been a lot easier if as Omowumni was singing her achievements she would have mentioned the dept that she got the degree in and in bracket also put ( now so-so dept). That way it makes it easier for people to relate with you.
Also, if she doesn’t sing her own praise, who will?

The only thing is to do something tangible with all the achievements.

    1. So because she didn’t put the dept. Does that give anyone the right to call her a liar. Instead of addressing the real issue you’re chatting crap.

    2. So that is how you typed your own in your CV? Nigerian universities need to do better. Victoria should get herself a job. She has too much time on her hands to look for trouble but none to Google a school as reputable as King's college London and the courses they offer. How low was she aiming that she just obtained a degree and never even knew of king's college? And instead of hiding her face in shame that her own uni advertises on the internet and offers discounts on courses, she doubled down on her ignorance. Omowummi should just ignore her. These kind of people would develop an American accent after 6 weeks spent indoors in the the UK.

  20. Inyama is everywhere. What does she do again? I used to see her comments all over Stella’s page before Stella blocked me for liking a comment contrary to her own opinion.

  21. Victoria Inyama seems to be loosing it. Why not mind your business or correct her privately? Tertiary institutions are not stagnant and programmes get changed from time to time. Even some Courses and
even Departments can get scrapped. Bottom line is self-development and being proud of one's accomplishment particularly as a woman in a society where...is the ultimate goal.

  22. First of all, LMAO @ mental health expert. That right there is an exaggeration (lie) on its own.

Secondly, Victoria should leave this lady to embellish and exaggerate as she deems fit, oginidi?! Imagine being so jobless and bitter to the extent of going to check if indeed she studied those courses as she claimed. Does she think that she's not capable of achieving such or what? Nawa oh. I don't care if Omowunmi lied or not but she's one of the level headed and (seemingly) intelligent celebrity women we have around so leave her alone abeg. I've never seen her in any scandals or drama and it seems victoria is bent on dragging her.

  23. Victoria is coming across as every patient/ client's nightmare- using your own life to treat their insecurities. Creating fault out of thin air so they can avoid fixing their own problems. Everything with her is war and confrontation. Every post means something. Even when she is shown to be wrong, she would still be beating drums of war. Those who go into mental health with an agenda.

Aunty, you didn't even Google King's college, you started typing. This means while you were looking for a school to graduate from, you didn't even consider anywhere near prestigious- people who go to school with the "when is payday?" mindset. You probably chose a school that advertised on your email. Now even the course she quoted, you could have sent an email to the school or checked their offerings, you didn't but started typing again. Fight dey your body before abeg.

This lady did not go abroad on a dingy. With her type of pedigree, it would be social suicide for her to claim degrees she has not earned. She is not the one sponsoring her family by selling drama on the gram. If you can celebrate her, lock your sour wounds or post your own so you can feel better.

  24. I mean it's more dignified to lie about earning a degree than lying about buying a house in Banana "Iceland", innit?

  25. I just checked and the school truly offers that course. Victoria, you goofed. See what bad belle can cause sha.

  27. Says the woman who calls herself a psychologist after completing a BSc in psychology.
Victoria don't you think it is time you stop rubbing shoulders with these young ladies in their 30s and face your age mates.
A woman in her 50s constantly replying others on SM, Victoria you sound so frustrated.
London you cannot command respect, Nigeria you cannot command respect - what is your gain.
It is high time you get a job, find a man, make new friends and stop trolling online because you are everywhere and it is shameful.
Get off the internet and sort your life out, it is so obvious you lack success so please get busy.

  28. Victoria Inyama, if you are smart, redeem yourself. Eat the humble pie and apologise to Omowunmi Akinnifesi on her IG page for publicly embarrassing yourself.

I advise that you choose a worthy cause to expend your energy on.

    2. @SPIRIT if I were her, I would take my own advice and apologise to Omowunmi Akinnifesi openly.

What do I know she probably is used to only certain areas and thinks Kong’s College is a branch of Kong’s Collegw Howputal
