Nigerian Teen Kidnapped In Toronto Has Been Found

The fourteen year old Nigerian teen, Shammah Jolayemi who was kidnapped on Wednesday on his way to school in Toronto has been found.

The Toronto police in a tweet on their official twitter page announced he was safe and would be taken for medical check up at the hospital.

During a press conference outside a north Toronto police station on Thursday evening, Supt. Steven Watts stated investigators believe Jolayemi’s kidnappers were motivated by the theft of about 100 kilograms of cocaine worth around $4 million that was allegedly stolen by the teen’s stepbrother, Olalekan Osikoya, in summer of 2019.

The police said they were not notified about his kidnap, but were informed by the teen's parents after he failed to show up in school.

An Amber alert was issued early Thursday.
The police did not indicate if any arrest has been made.

Dunno why drug dealers don't consider the risk they will be putting their family through once they take up that lifestyle.
