Man Killed By His Neighbour For Obeying Social Distancing Directive

Oh My Goodness!!!!

Taiwo Eluyemi,a resident of Lagos state at the Taiwo street of Mafoluku in Oshodi, was hacked to death by Habeeb, one of his neighbours, because he refused him watching TV in his house in compliance with the social distancing directive.....

Taiwo who is known in his neighborhood for always opening his doors to neighbours to watch football and movies sent Habeeb and his friends away but the decision however did not go down well with Habeeb and it allegedly led to an altercation which was later resolved by concerned neighbours.

The next day, Habeeb waylaid Taiwo on his way from picking up his son from church and he stabbed him in the back and hand with a machete till he bled to death.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana , while confirming the incident , said investigation had commenced .
He said , “The suspect is already in custody . Two of them are friends . They had a misunderstanding . We are investigating the circumstances that led to the murder .”

  3. This is wickedness. I don't blame neighbors that don't even open their doors in the past, because if you stop to do so one day, you won't know who will nurture evil towards you. Now this man's good has led to his death. May his soul rest in peace. And may the wicked never go unpunished.

My sales girl wears gloves to collect and return change in the shop, sometimes she even uses ordinary leather. I hope the murderers meet their Waterloo. Rip to the dead.

  20. Now that he has killed him, he should go and continue watching the Tv in the prison.

Very sad story, just because he refused you from coming inside to watch tv, he forgot all the times he allowed him watched, how quick people forgive the good you have done for them.

    Rest in peace Taiwo.
