Hmmmmm........

  1. God help us all! Does this mean the FG will announce an extension of the lockdown? Moving around amidst rising exposure is highly unwise.

  2. I do not believe this numbers. I am sure that poor woman that died at unth because doctors thought she has covid and left her untreated is among these numbers.
Someone dies from malaria or heart related problems all of a sudden they are counted as a covid patient.
Can someone tell me this, if really the numbers are this high, how come its not killing people like it did in other countries especially in US? More than a thousand people die daily from the virus in America, why is it different here? Why is it a slow killer here? With all the carelessness in this country especially in lagos. I need clean and clear answers.

    1. continue to wait for someone to help you use your brain...lazy bones. Do some research. Better still go out and get the infection...to confirm.

    2. The truth is that it doesn’t matter whether you believe the numbers or not as long as you abide by all the Govt guidelines, we appreciate you. You’d need to dig deeper into the numbers to understand the death rate numbers. In the us, about 43k have died out of about 750k patients which is approximately 5.6%. In Nigeria 31 out of 981 (we use this as a base even though it may be against best practice) which is about 3.2%. Not too far off. Besides in Nigeria, the bulk of covid patients are Btw 30-40yrs which typically gives a better survival rate.

  6. There are only two explanations.People are either getting more access to testing or are just stupid and stubborn.

    1. People are obviously getting tested,i already said it yesterday that government needs to test more people. Population in Lagos alone,is more than some countries in the world. Please wear a face mask if you must go out. Wheww!!!

    2. I think the latter is the case. Hope you have seen the football match in Kano where a massive crowd turned out? Hope you viewed as igwe nmadu tropped out for shopping in the scheduled markets in Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Wuse and many more.
When 1 million boys were terrorizing some part of Lagos, and the streets reacted gallantly, sadly that was just another.

We are itching to get back to work. But the pertinent question remains "get back to which work?"
This one we have to sit it out, while ramping up pressure on our non-existent, greedy, selfish, evil government to cater for the citizens and businesses at risk.

    3. I have encountered some traders that say they rather die of corona virus than hunger, that is why most markets are booming even with all the fear. If they did not give out monetary palliatives especially to petty traders, sit at home go hard.

  14. Kano has stopped reporting numbers. I strongly believe they've stopped testing.
Ganduje reopened the state yesterday but because of pressure he's likely going to lift the lockdown for Ramadan. Meanwhile people are dying at higher than usual rates, undertakers at cemeteries are complaining.

Kogi state has refused to test at all.

Kwara state is covering up a coronavirus related death.

But if they announce that there will be palliative funds for the state government if they have Corona patients, you will see testing go up and everything reported. We have greedy wicked leaders
